Unreal scenes on Saturday as the Redders clinched a huge win over Sacred Heart!

Walking out at #8 following a middle-order wobble, Heaven XI debutant Alex McMillan ‘Al-Mac’ stepped up with a vital 23, highlighted by three boundaries and one massive six.

But the show was just getting started. Handed the new ball, Al-Mac tore through the top order to claim 5/27 off 9 overs, locking in a famous Redders victory.

An all-round performance for the ages. Take a bow, mate!

The time has come, Redders.
After a citywide washout for Round 1, the skies have cleared and that means Cricket!
Congratulations to Chinmay Karangutkar on becoming the inaugural captain of Workers XI! This Sunday team is a fantastic addition to the club, giving more Redders a chance to swing the willow on turf.
After bagging the four wins on Saturday, make sure you get on down to the Victoria Hotel, Brunswick, 7pm for our season launch!
Buckle up, Comrades!

FINALS CRICKET COMRADES! Our Peoples (2nd XI) are back for March finals action after a disappointing grand final loss last season. We take on Royal Park Brunswick Cricket Club at home (Walker West Oval) this Saturday from 12pm.

Reds most successful captain Reggie leads the team as we welcome back Nikhil Sandeep, whose flight variation is only matched by his arrival time! Club legend Cath McLeish will take on the all-important scoring responsibilities! Thanks Cath!

Thanks to fellow Reds for organising the off-field entertainment, so please come enjoy some classic reds hospitality as we chase another flag!! ⛑️🏏🌺
