Another race run and won. After massive storms every day, Sunday was a beautiful day, although it was hot out on the run. The storm waited until evening to hit.

Annie took one look at the impending weather and decided not to race before leaving Sydney, then regretted her decision 😄

The water temp was beautiful, but the swim did feel a bit tedious this year.

Julie Ashwood came off the back of world champs and smashed out a 12 minute pb, racing her best race at 2:43:19.

Jacqui loved her race and has already announced she’ll be back next year and already has her eye on reaching Legend status. Time of 3:29:42.

Nettie had a good race and finally cracked 1:30 in the bike with a 1:26 ride and finish time of 3:10:38. Very happy with my race this year, notching up number 13 as a Legend.

Jo Bright stoically raced sick and went to struggle town on the run, but got the job done with 3:02:50.

Wendo and Annie were wonderful support crew for the former LAPD ladies.

Kevin Dixon also raced, but I didn’t catch up with him, amongst the thousands of people in town.

ANNOUCEMENT ALERT: Tomorrow afternoon, Triathlon NSW will be launching the newly created Regional Interclub Competition website!

It will feature the five new regional interclub series, as well as providing a full calendar of events, further information about how the points system will work and other FAQ's.

Wish we wish to thank all the clubs and their committees for their ongoing support and assistance whilst we launch this pilot concept in the season 2018 / 2019.
