11 PATHWAYS | JACK MALDONADO

COMMITMENT OPENS DOORS. 🦅

Two buses. Two trains. One goal: keep moving forward.

Jack Maldonado travels from Manly to train and play for Parramatta FC—a journey he embraces because he believes in his football and the opportunities ahead.

From AYL football to an open trial at Parramatta, Jack’s hard work has earned him opportunities with the U20s, an Australia Cup First Grade appearance and trials with A-League academies.

A U16 winger with speed, sharp movement and confidence in one-on-one situations, Jack dreams of playing for Barcelona. Every training session is another step towards that ambition.

For Jack, Parramatta FC is a second home. A club that recognised his talent, welcomed him and backed him to take the next step.

11 PATHWAYS | RILEY CARMODY-SMITH

HARD WORK REWARDED. 🦅

A First Grade debut at just 16 years old—the result of years of commitment, discipline and belief.

Riley Carmody-Smith travels from the Central Coast each week to train and play for Parramatta FC. For him, the journey is worth it: a club with a proud history, a pathway to higher opportunities and teammates and coaches who continually push each other forward.

From training with academies and higher-division NPL clubs to building his game around the fundamentals, Riley’s focus remains simple: master the basics, keep developing and be ready when the next opportunity arrives.

Parramatta FC has become more than a football club. It’s a second home—and Riley is proud to represent it.
