We would like to congratulate the efforts of our 3 Australian representatives returning to home soil who have recently competed at the World Cadet Championships and Bosnia open
Elijah Wu, Jack Orchard made the Australian Cadet team and had fought valiantly in the competition.
Jack Orchard drew a power house country of Iran, Jack fought hard however very Tough and questionable referee calls had unfortunately been the deciding factor in his round of 64 finish. Jack then had the opportunity to bounce back and compete at the following competition (Bosnia open G1) where he beat Bosnia in the round of 8, progressing to the semi finals where he fell short up against Libiya, not allowing the results of the previous comp slow him down, he earned a Bronze medal for Australia ππ½
Elijah Wu won against India in the round of 64 in an explosive action packed fight displaying his athletic and precise ability with a range of headkicks. Elijah then moved onto round of 32 where he fought hard and Lost to a strong and highly experienced fighter from Kazakhstan who was the eventual World champion. Elijah then backed up his performance at the Bosnia open matching up with the World Cadet bronze medalist from Ecuador. This was a nail biting fight where Elijah lost 2-1, a great effort from Mr Wu πͺπ½
Lachlan Orchard represented Australia at the Bosnia open, long day for Mr Orchard and what a result! Lachlan Drew Bosnia in round of 16 and won, then backed up his win against Power house country Egypt which then progressed him into the semi finals against Montenegro. Lachlan Won 2-1 against Montenegro which progressed him into the finals against Croatia. Lachlan fought very hard and was possibly his best performance to date! Lachlan lost the last fight against Croatia which resulted in a silver medal for Australia ππ½

π₯ Happy Taekwondo Day! π₯
Today, we celebrate the discipline, dedication, and indomitable spirit that Taekwondo represents. It's not just a sport; it's a way of life.
Whether you're a black belt or just starting your journey, remember that every kick, punch, and block brings you closer to becoming the best version of yourself. Keep training hard and breaking those boards, both in the dojang and in life!
