Vale Peter Barney

Peter started his football playing career at the Jabuk football club as a c**t and then in time moved into the senior side. He had a limited playing career due to consistent injuries but was a loyal supporter.

When the Peake and District Football Club was formed he realised the value of involving his family in to the club and accepted various roles over the year including gate keeper, goal umpire, club delegate, secretary and a member of the umpires board.

For these many years of service to the club he was awarded a life membership to the club.

Peter is survived by his children Donna and Hayden and is now at rest with his wife Patti.

The Mallee Districts Storm will pay tribute to Peter with the wearing of black arm bands for the first game of the new season

We're down to the last two home game rosters for the season.

If you haven't completed your required shifts yet, now's the time to jump on and choose one that suits you.

Roster sign ups will close soon so we can finalise the remainder of the season. Any members who haven't completed their required volunteer shifts may be allocated to vacant positions.

We have teamed with Wicks Estate wines (long time suppliers and supporters of our club) to bring you a great selection of quality wines for the value price of $22/bottle with an added bonus of 1 free bottle of either Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Syrah with every 6 bottles purchased.
