The Rugby community celebrated our great game with a Rugby lunch at the Fullerton Hotel, Sydney last week.

Our congratulations to the Cauliflower Club for hosting this great event and for raising over $180,000 this year which will support critical health care initiatives.

Guest speakers were joined by a panel of Rugby greats - David Pocock, Fraser McReight and Richie McCaw.

A table of Hexagon Rugby players and guests were proud to attend this event and had a great afternoon.

Thanks to our tour captains Stuart Moncrieff and Paul Higham for all your work this weekend and on the run up. Thanks to Aaron Christy for running the golf day and to Angus Stewart for acting as team photographer and judge at the Kangaroo Court.

Many more pics and videos in the tour chat shared by Angus.

***BATHURST RUGBYFEST CHARITIES***

Each year the Bathurst Old Boys Rugby host a fantastic end of season gala for all NSW Over 35's Golden Oldies and Masters Rugby and Hexagon Rugby teams.

We all unite to play the game we love and celebrate the friendships and fun we’ve all enjoyed over many years in this community.

There is also another important aspect to RugbyFest as all funds raised from entry fees, food and drink sales and auction prizes go to support charities Blokes Bags, NSW Police Legacy and Terrigal Trojans All Abilities Rugby Union.

*CAULIFLOWER CLUB LUNCH - 2 SPOTS LEFT*

Join Hexagon Rugby at this great rugby lunch.

- Friday 16th October
- Fullerton Hotel, Sydney
- 12 to 3pm
- $250 per ticket.

The Cauliflower Club Annual Fundraising Lunch has a reputation for being the one you are still talking about years later.

On the eve of the Sydney Bledisloe Test
Chair Peter FitzSimons in conversation with Senator David Pocock and Richie McCaw ONZ

Two of the finest open sides the game has produced. Both defined as much by what they stood for as what they scored. Richie McCaw led the All Blacks to back-to-back Rugby World Cup victories with a consistency and quiet authority that the game has rarely seen. David Pocock brought that same intensity to the Wallabies for over a decade — and then took it to the Australian Senate, where he has continued to ask the hard questions with exactly the same precision he showed at the breakdown.

-Welcome drinks on arrival
-Three course lunch with drinks package

There are 2 spots left on the Hexagon Rugby Table. Message below if you want them.

***HEXAGON GAME 7- Wahroonga Toothless Tigers - Oldies rugby***

Thanks to Wahroonga for hosting the season finale of the 2026 Hexagon Rugby series at Cliff Oval on Friday night.

Including a resurgent Tigers team we had over 75 players take the field in front of an enthusiastic crowd and balcony full of supporters.

After a 2 year absence our return to this great venue was a fitting salute to the efforts of Jonathan Handschuh and the Tigers family. We look forward to welcoming many of their players to our games next year.

Games were followed by drinks and speeches and talk of the Curry night and Bathurst tour.

More pics and video to follow.
