We just wanted to highlight and give some spotlight to 4 athletes who have truly achieved some astronomical success during this junior rep season. The persistence, sacrifice and professionalism these athletes continue to display is something we deeply admire, and we couldn’t be prouder of the people and athletes they are becoming. We are with you guys all the way 🫶🏻

Male Athlete | In-season | Full Body Strength -

Mid-week full body session built to maintain key qualities in-season without adding unnecessary fatigue.

Everything in this session is built around the athlete producing & absorbing force, and staying sharp at high speeds. That balance is key for performance, but more importantly, it keeps the athlete healthy and available week to week.

Thi session focuses on building posterior chain strength to support sprinting and movement efficiency, while keeping the upper body strong and balanced to handle contact and overall load.

At the same time, our accessories look after the smaller sometimes overlooked details. Which is the athletes tendon health, trunk control, stability and unilateral strength, so our athletes have the resilience to handle their sporting load as the season goes on.

For us, it’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what matters. Keeping the athlete strong, fast, and resilient year round 💨

Edge D Principles: when to jam and when to play passive 💨

When you’ve got grass behind you most defensive coaches will say to play passive, use the sideline and let your inside man help close the space.

But what happens if you’re defending your line or need to come up with a clutch play?

A lot of coaches talk about feel, but not every player can feel the situation and come up with the right play. So here’s some pointers to help you become a defensive presence out wide.

1. Use the ball player as your indicator, if he is deep into the line, land on the pass. But never get ahead of your inside man.

2. If you make a decision even if it’s the wrong one, be sure to do it without hesitation, because even the wrong play with 100% commitment can still earn a result.

3. Whatever you do, do it together, if one person jams the outside needs to follow, you reacting to your teammates difference movements can be the difference between a try or a huge defensive play 🔥

RDL range should be dictated by peak hamstring tension, not max depth ‼️

Chasing tension > chasing depth because once hamstrings are fully loaded, extra range adds little value and can reduce force output.

Early hamstring engagement is a positive, it shows efficient hinge mechanics and better posterior chain recruitment.

Better hinge = reinforcement of the same angles used in early acceleration.

If you’re an athlete looking to ensure you’re getting the most out of your hinge, ensure to focus on peak tension rather than depth. Trust me, your hamstrings will thank you 🙏
