Wakefield Park brought $16.95 MILLION dollars to the GOULBURN regional economy in 2019..

This is due to 3 people who are complaining about noise, and we can’t lose another racetrack. Let’s help

Wakefield Park really needs everyone’s assistance with voices, emails and partition signatures in hounding the Goulburn councillors. With an email stating why Wakefield Park should be there by many how could they refuse?

Celebrating 10 years of being in business this week. A big thankyou to all customers keeping DucPen in business.

I wish to thank each and every customer who has stepped through our door, I appreciate and cherish you all. Ten years of life spent, thousands of people met, extreme great and sad times, a pleasure nonetheless.

It’s been a hard footprint to stamp from the beginning, with no business education or background prior to the late Dale B handing me reigns but ever worthwhile and now satisfying. Albeit a draining and tiring journey for my household I don’t think I’d change a thing, although I do hope to remember more of the next ten years and live some life as well as work. A regular shop ride might just have to become a thing..

Each lesson and hurdle has helped me grow to become more than a just your mechanic,
I pride myself on the best quality workmanship and my next target is to bring customer service to the same level, see you all again soon

and the list goes on.... many sayings and quotes have been related to the incredibly, wonderful, exciting and some ways very personal St George Summer Night Races.

This series may not be as ground breaking as the invention of the wheel, or the invention of the bicycle or the invention of the light... but by all combining all 3 things into one 4 hour period of time late in the evening some 100 years later has definitely created something unique and wanting more...

If you haven't been to watch the under lights road racing motorcycle action, you don't know what your missing...
The high paced event coupled with the personal interactions in the pit garages and some on track... this is a great way to experience this sport in a superb family environment.

The kids can get on bikes for photos, meet the riders .... beware of the one's riding Italian motorbikes... they generally swear at their bikes alot... there is plenty of interactions to be had.

But it all seriousness, there is no better and cheaper way to spend Saturday February 6th from 6.30pm being entertained for 4 hours, then by witnessing these incredible riders racing at Sydney Motorsport Park doing their thing.

All 3 championships are still on the line with the last round about to start... Will BMW reign supreme or will the Yamaha team upset the evening in Black Dog Ride Unlimited Division 1. First 2 races at the last event saw less than 0.060 seconds separating in total... just lucky they both have a bot of white and blue on their bikes...

In PirelliMoto Unlimited Div 2, looks like another BMW is on track to win the series, but a few Kawasaki's and Yamaha's are wanting to change this. If you stand around long enough - an Aprillia rider will say his a chance, but that is 30 seconds of your life that I apologise for...

The PirelliMoto 600cc's races have been seen as the fight between best mates off the circuit, with little then a few seconds separating them over 3 races at the last round.

Within all of these events, there is some many battle packs as they fields are designed for close racing.. so come on down, get close - but not to close and enjoy the wonderful sport and community as we know as Motorcycle Road Racing.

So come along for a look for however long you want, from 1 race to 4 hours... whatever length you choose just come down, you can grab a cold drink to something to eat... Just whatever you do, get there.

The Duc-Pen Specialists 749 ran faultlessly and while down on speed on the straight held its own around the back of the track with the big bikes.

Bit of a personal post if I may...

Owning and operating your own business can be a bit of a juggling act at times, as many of you can understand. I’ve been tested more than usual recently, being back to a one man show at short notice as of June 1st. I’ve been putting in some seriously long days through this period, which unfortunately hasn’t been enough to keep up with the demand. I’d like to help everyone, but as of late I’ve not been able to. I also appreciate that I may have been hard to get hold of at times, and for that I apologise. Please know, I am not ignoring anyone, but I have simply had to focus my time and energy on keeping up with the physical workload.

As a result of the above, I have often been receiving calls on my personal number, text messages and messaged through my personal Facebook, often outside business hours and even early on a Sunday morning. I understand that you are frustrated and just wanting to get in touch for work you need and ultimately this all supports me and my business. But right now, given the current situation, I would ask respectfully if everyone refrains from using my personal number and personal Facebook for any Ducati related inquiries. If you have my personal number, please don’t pass it on without my permission. I am desperately trying to keep some kind of work/life balance and need your help with this.

The good news is that I am back to having a great helper in the shop, so can be more regular at returning your phone messages from the workshop within the same week at least. So if you need anything Ducati related, please leave a message on our phone if you don’t get through. I promise I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can.
PS: the phone is actually on silent, so the three and four call triers don’t break our rhythm when we’re covered in oils etc, so we are unable to answer anyway. Please try to understand, the light is shining at the end of the tunnel again, thank goodness 🙏
