🦍💚🧡 GIRLS 7s – WEEK 1 DONE & DUSTED! 🧡💚🦍
What an absolutely amazing start to our Girls 7s season! 🏉🔥
Our U14s and U16s took to the field on Sunday for their first round of rugby, and WOW, did they deliver!
90% of these girls had NEVER played a game of rugby before Sunday! 🤯
To see the courage, determination, teamwork and skill they displayed across all six games was nothing short of incredible!
Every single girl stepped up, gave it their all and showed what it means to wear the green and orange.
Girls, you should all be so proud of yourselves! We certainly are! 💚🧡
A massive thank you to our incredible coaches, Phil, Colin and Mitch, for the time, effort and dedication you have put into preparing these girls for their first games. Your encouragement and support are helping build something special at our club.
To all our parents and supporters, thank you for getting behind the girls and cheering them on throughout the day!
This is just the beginning, and we cannot wait to watch these girls grow in confidence, develop their skills and continue to enjoy this great game!

THE FUTURE OF GIRLS RUGBY AT THE SILVERBACKS IS LOOKING BRIGHT! 🦍🔥

🏆 2026 A SEASON TO REMEMBER 🏆

Last night, the Penrith RSL Silverbacks came together for our 2026 End of Season Presentation Night, and what a way to celebrate an incredible year! 🦍🟢🟠

We had our biggest presentation night attendance ever, with our Silverbacks family coming together to recognise the achievements of our players, teams and club.

Congratulations to every player and team on a fantastic season, and a special congratulations to all of our award winners on the night. 👏🏆

The numbers from 2026 speak volumes about the continued growth and development within our club:

🏉 58 players selected to represent the Penrith District
🏉 17 players selected in SJRU representative sides
🏉 12 players selected for Waratahs & Next Gen programs

These achievements are something our entire club should be incredibly proud of.

2026 proved to be a successful season both on and off the field, and none of it happens without the people behind the scenes.

To our Committee, Coaches, Managers, Volunteers, Parents, Families, Supporters and Sponsors thank you. Your time, commitment and passion are what continue to make the Silverbacks the club it is today. 💚🧡

We continue to grow every year, and hopefully our success grows right alongside it.

The future is looking very bright at Nepean Rugby Park.

ONE CLUB. ONE VISION. ONE FAMILY.

🏉🟢🟠 THANK YOU, SILVERBACKS FAMILY! 🟠🟢🏉

As another incredible season comes to an end, we want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who makes the Penrith RSL Silverbacks the club we are. 🦍❤️

To our PLAYERS — thank you for your effort, commitment, courage and passion every time you pulled on the Silverbacks jersey.

To our COACHES — thank you for the countless hours, leadership, guidance and dedication you give to our players.

To our MANAGERS — thank you for everything you do behind the scenes to keep our teams organised and running each week.

To our VOLUNTEERS — from the canteen and BBQ to field setup, ground marshals, first aid and everything in between — our club simply couldn’t operate without you.

And to our PARENTS & FAMILIES — thank you for the early mornings, long drives, washing jerseys, cheering from the sidelines and supporting our kids through every win, loss and everything in between. 💚🧡

A rugby club is so much more than what happens during matches on a field. It’s the people who give their time, support each other and create a place where our kids can play the game they love.

YOU make our club stronger.

From everyone at the Penrith RSL Silverbacks — THANK YOU for an amazing 2026 season. 🦍🏉
