We’re proud to see our Principal, Elyse Saraceni, taking the stage at the PIA WA Emerging Planners Summit 2026.
Elyse will be joining Panel Discussion 2: Beyond Technical Skills: Navigating People, Progression & Perspective — a conversation that gets to the heart of what helps people build strong, rewarding careers in planning.
With 17 years of experience across statutory and strategic planning, Elyse brings a grounded, practical perspective and a genuine commitment to better outcomes for clients and communities alike. She’s the kind of leader who understands that good planning is never just about process, it’s about people, judgement and knowing how to navigate complexity with confidence.
A great session for emerging planners!

Big congratulations to Jillian Bardos 👏
We’re really proud to share that Jillian has received a Curtin University DBE award recognising her research into Perth’s public transport — a piece of student work that’s made a meaningful contribution to the broader understanding of our city’s transport network.
A big thank you to Daniel Janssen and Rebecca Curry, who presented the award on behalf of the Public Transport Authority, and for taking the time to acknowledge the importance of research-led thinking in public transport.
And… can we talk about that very cool limited-edition gift? 👀 You have to ask her what she got.
Well done, Jillian. We’re incredibly proud of your achievement and the curiosity, rigour and care you bring to your work. 🚆✨
