Give your young athlete the perfect introduction to basketball with Aussie Hoops, Basketball Australia’s official beginner program for children aged 4–10. Designed to nurture confidence, coordination and a love for the game, Aussie Hoops also supports social development and community connection through an inclusive and enjoyable experience.

Across 7 sessions in Term 1 Hawks Aussie Hoops will offer the following programs:
4–6 Year Old Boys | 4:00–4:45pm
7–10 Year Old Boys | 4:00–4:45pm
4–10 Year Old Girls | 4:00–4:45pm

Term 1 Dates (Mondays):
Commences: 9 February 2026
Final Session: 30 March 2026
No Session: 2 March 2026 (Public Holiday)

Hawks have informed us that there are major changes to the 2026 winter season. This will affect Girls U10 miniball (Year 3), Girls U10 (Year 4), Girls U14 (Year 7 and 😎, Boys U16 (Year 9 and 10) and Boys U18 (Year 11 and 12).

Friday night games for 2026 Season will be:
Girls and Boys U16
Girls and Boys U18

Games times will be 4:30 pm, 5:20 pm, 6:10 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:50 pm, 8:40 pm and 9:30 pm at Bendat, Lords and JTC.

Saturday games for the 2026 Season will be:
Boys and Girls Miniball
Boys and Girls U10
Boys and Girls U12
Boys and Girls U14

Game times will be 7:30 am, 8:20 am, 9:10 am, 10:00 am, 10:50 am, 11:40 am, 12:30 pm, 1:20 pm, 2:10 pm, 3:00 pm, 3:50 pm and 4:40 pm at Bendat and Lords.
