Today, we’re excited to feature Michaela Leonard, an athlete at Western Force, who will be stepping into the ring against Jeanine Brown! 🔥

Michaela is no stranger to competition, bringing her athletic background and determination from the rugby field into the Corporate Boxing Event ring. She is also no stranger to the international sporting stage, having represented the Wallaroos since 2019 and previously captained the Australian women’s rugby team, including leading the side to its first-ever WXV 2 championship in 2024. Known for her commitment to sport and willingness to take on new challenges, Michaela is ready to put her skills to the test when she steps between the ropes.

Michaela is stepping into the ring in support of the Butterfly Foundation, helping raise awareness and support for those affected by eating disorders.

Standing across from her will be Jeanine Brown, a returning Corporate Boxing Event fighter who is back and ready to take on the challenge once again! She is the Western Australian State Junior Welterweight Champion and also holds the ANBF Australasian Welterweight Boxing Title.

CORPORATE BOXING EVENT 2026 | FIGHTER SPOTLIGHT 🥊

Today, we’re excited to feature Hannah Palelei, Western Force rugby player, who will be stepping into the ring against Laura How! 🔥

Hannah is no stranger to pushing herself beyond her limits. A powerful front-rower for the Western Force, she has risen through the RugbyWA pathway to become a key part of the professional Super Rugby Women’s environment.

Her journey to rugby has been anything but ordinary. Originally a competitive swimmer, Hannah only began playing rugby in 2022 before quickly making her mark on the field. She was elevated from the Western Force Academy to a full contract and went on to win the club’s 2024 Rising Star award.

Proud of her Tongan heritage, Hannah has spoken about how rugby has helped her connect more deeply with her culture, her teammates and herself. Her growth both on and off the field has seen her continue to develop as a player, leader and competitor.

Now, she’ll be swapping the rugby field for the boxing ring as she takes on an entirely new challenge at Corporate Boxing Event 2026.

Hannah will be fighting in support of MSWA, helping raise awareness and support for people living with neurological conditions.

Standing across from her will be Laura How, who is returning to the Corporate Boxing ring and ready to take on another exciting challenge in 2026.

CORPORATE BOXING EVENT 2026 | FIGHTER SPOTLIGHT

Today, we’re excited to feature John Muka Kasuku, Group Manager - Finance at Northern Star Resources, who will be stepping into the ring against Clay Greenbank! 🔥

John is taking on this challenge in support of Perth Inner City Youth Service (PICYS), an organisation supporting young people aged 16 to 25 who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. PICYS provides safe accommodation, psychosocial support and programs that help young people build independence, wellbeing and a brighter future.

Stepping into the ring for a cause close to his heart, John is ready to challenge himself, raise awareness and make a difference for young people in our community.

Standing across the ring will be Clay Greenbank, who brings his own determination and fighting spirit to this Corporate Boxing Event.

This promises to be a matchup full of heart, purpose and determination, as John steps outside his comfort zone and takes on the challenge under the lights.

CORPORATE BOXING EVENT 2026 | FIGHTER SPOTLIGHT 🥊

Today, we’re excited to feature Daniel Fitzgerald, who will be stepping into the ring against none other than his boss, Greg Morris! 🔥

Daniel is stepping into the ring in support of LIVIN, an Australian mental health charity dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health and encouraging people to speak up, connect and seek support when they need it. 💙

Standing across the ring from Daniel will be his boss, Greg Morris. And let’s be fair, how often do you get the chance to put the gloves on and go a few rounds with the boss without having a meeting with HR the next morning? 😂🥊

Whatever workplace disagreements Daniel might have had to politely nod and smile through can officially be left at the office. On fight night, these two get to settle things the Corporate Boxing way. Inside the ring, gloves on, and with plenty of mutual respect when that final bell rings.

All jokes aside, this fight is about something much bigger.

Daniel and Greg are stepping outside their comfort zones to support an incredible cause and help start conversations around mental health. Some of the toughest battles people face are the ones nobody else can see, and events like this are about reminding people that it’s okay to speak up and ask for support.

Together, Daniel and Greg are helping raise awareness for mental health and supporting LIVIN’s mission to create a world where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health.

But Daniel… if there was ever a time to ask the boss for that pay rise, maybe wait until after the fight. 😂🥊

CORPORATE BOXING EVENT 2026 | FIGHTER SPOTLIGHT 🥊

Today, we’re excited to feature Justin Nuich, the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Mader Group, who will be stepping into the ring against Wes Capper! 🔥

Justin is rising to the challenge in support of Sandcastles, a Western Australian children’s hospice providing specialised respite, clinical and end-of-life care, as well as ongoing support for children with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Justin will be fighting against Wes Capper, also known as “The Decappertator,” a seasoned Perth-based combat sports athlete with professional experience in Boxing, Muay Thai and MMA. Wes is a former three-time Australian junior middleweight Muay Thai champion and WKBKF Muay Thai Middleweight World Champion, and has also won the State Middleweight Boxing Title and Australian Middleweight Boxing Title. With years of experience and fight knowledge, Wes brings serious credentials into the ring.

This fight is more than just two warriors going glove-to-glove, it’s an opportunity to raise awareness and support a cause that provides vital care to children and their families, when they need it the most.
