Today our team had the opportunity to attend the launch of the findings from the UnionsWA Workplace Gender Equality Project, exploring the barriers to gender equality in male-dominated industries.
It was an insightful session that highlighted not only the challenges that continue to exist, but also recommendations organisations can take to create more inclusive workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
At Driver Risk Management, we’re committed to fostering diversity, supporting equitable opportunities, and encouraging more people, regardless of gender, to pursue careers in transport, logistics and driver education.
A big thank you to UnionsWA for sharing the research and facilitating such important conversations. Change starts with awareness, but it only happens through action.

🚨 Think you can tow? Let’s put that confidence to the test.
Hooking up a trailer isn’t just about winding down the jockey wheel and hoping for the best…
Can you:
✔️ Perform the correct safety checks?
✔️ Distribute your load safely?
✔️ Reverse a trailer without the stress?
✔️ Manoeuvre confidently in tight spaces?
✔️ Keep yourself—and everyone else on the road—safe?
Whether you’re towing a caravan, boat, work trailer, horse float or camper, the right training could save you from an expensive mistake—or something much worse.
Thousands of Australians tow every day—but surprisingly few have ever been taught how to do it properly.
Whether you’re preparing for your next camping trip or meeting your employer’s competency requirements, we’ll give you the skills and confidence to tow safely.
📞 Book your place today and tow with confidence—not luck.

Training doesn’t end when the course finishes, it shows in the real world.
On their journey home after successfully being deemed competent in 4WD Recovery, two of our students came across a recreational 4WD that was heavily bogged in soft sand.
Without hesitation, they assessed the situation, applied the recovery techniques they had just learned, and confidently assisted in recovering the vehicle safely.
This is exactly why we deliver practical, competency based training, building the skills, confidence and judgement needed when it matters most.
Congratulations, ladies! 👏 A fantastic example of professionalism, teamwork and putting your newly acquired skills into action. We’re incredibly proud of you.
