In 2027 we will also be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the EL GT.
Released in 1997 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Falcon GT, the EL GT was created in conjunction with the team at Tickford.
A total of 272 were built, 147 manual and 125 automatic.
the engine was a 5.0 litre 200kw V8 GT40.
Three stunning colours were available, Sparkling Burgundy (157), Heritage Green (63) and Navy Blue (52)
of the 272, 11 were built in 1996 as pre production cars with the remaining 261 produced in 1997.
the ELGT went on to win Bathurst in 1998 with Jason Bright and Steven Richards sharing the driving duties and the Podium.
