🎉 Happy first Birthday as our incredible President, Nikeya Leonard! 🎉

Today we celebrate not only our President, but also the person who works tirelessly behind the scenes to help make our club what it is.

From managing our social media presence and keeping our community connected, to organising all of the events that bring us all together, Nikeya is often the face behind the camera, capturing the moments that make our club special while rarely being in the spotlight herself.

Your dedication, passion, and commitment to the West Coast family does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do for our players, families, volunteers, and committee.

On behalf of myself, Bailey O’Keefe, and the entire committee, we wish you a fantastic birthday filled with happiness, laughter, and plenty of time to celebrate with your loved ones.

🕊️ Vale Mick Hastie

It is with sadness that we acknowledge the passing of former West Coast Cricket Club player Mick Hastie.

Mick represented our club many years ago and will be remembered not only for his time in West Coast colours, but also for his achievements in WA football. His contribution to sport and the memories he created with teammates and friends will not be forgotten.

While many of our current members may not have had the privilege of knowing Mick, he remains part of the rich history and story of our club.

On behalf of everyone at West Coast Cricket Club, we extend our sincere condolences to Mick’s family, friends and former teammates during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Mick. 💙❤️🤍

One of the best things about being part of a club is watching our cricket family continue to grow, and we can’t wait to see these two little legends grow up around the club, making memories, building friendships, and becoming part of everything that makes West Coast so special.

For now, their bats are a little too big and their whites might need a few years to fit, but we’re looking forward to seeing them on the sidelines, around the clubrooms, and maybe one day out in the middle carrying on the West Coast spirit.

Welcome to the West Coast family, Sullivan and Sierra. We’re so excited to watch your journeys unfold and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both. 💙🤍🏏

As a club, we’re looking to take a fresh approach moving forward — not only continuing to grow on the field, but strengthening the connection we have with our community off it as well.

We want to create a positive environment for our players, families, supporters, and the wider community, and we’re committed to giving back however we can. From new ideas and opportunities to community involvement and support, there are some exciting things in the works for West Coast. 💙
