Round 6 – Year 3 🏉

The Year 3 boys put in a strong performance against a determined opposition this week. It wasn’t a high-scoring game, but the team controlled the ball for long periods and worked hard all day. Despite creating plenty of opportunities, they just couldn’t quite convert in front of goal. The boys fought hard and thoroughly deserved the win.

⭐ Player of the Match: Alfie Ritson
Alfie had a fantastic game, taking several strong intercept marks and creating scoring opportunities. He was unlucky not to convert a couple of chances in front of goal, but his effort and intent were outstanding throughout the match.

Round 6 – Year 4 vs Midvale 🏉

The Lesmurdie Year 4 boys recorded a strong win over Midvale on the weekend.

After a slow start, the boys found their rhythm and quickly took control of the game. They continued their impressive form after halftime, applying strong pressure around the ground and working hard as a team.

It was a fantastic team performance, with plenty of hard running, tackling and teamwork on display. Every player contributed and showed great determination throughout the match.

Player of the Match: ⭐ Elliot Harry for his outstanding effort, skill and commitment, helping lead the team to a convincing victory.

Round 6 - year 6 vs Kalamunda Gold

The boys played hard for all four quarters and put on a fantastic game to watch. They were back to their best this week, showing great determination, teamwork and effort from the first bounce to the final siren.

A big congratulations to Player of the Match, Nate Paull, whose outstanding effort and contribution helped lead the way for the team.

Round 5 – Year 3 🏉

🌟Player of the Day this week goes to Harvey Peterson 👏

The kids faced a tough contest but showed great determination and never gave up. They fought hard all game, even getting their noses in front late, before a final goal slipped through in the closing minutes.

Their tackling pressure continues to improve every week, and the way they moved the ball quickly was fantastic to watch. A great effort from the whole team — well done kids! 💙💛

🏉 Year 4 round 5

The boys put in a fantastic effort against High Wycombe this week and, despite the final result, showed plenty to be proud of. 💚💛

After a tough start where High Wycombe kicked six early goals, the Saints dug deep and responded brilliantly. For the remaining three quarters, the boys matched — and at times outplayed — their opponents with strong pressure, tough tackling and great determination around the contest.

The team fought hard right until the final siren, never dropping their heads and continuing to compete strongly across the ground. Their resilience and teamwork were a standout and showed just how much this group continues to improve each week.

Logan Gurbiel-Scowen

Logan’s work rate, determination and impact around the ground earned him best on ground honours. A fantastic performance and very well deserved recognition!

Keep bringing that effort boys — the results will come! 👏🏉

🏉 Round 5 – Year 6 🏉

A tough game for our Year 6 boys this week, but they should be incredibly proud of the way they handled themselves right until the final siren. Although the result didn’t go our way, the team showed awesome teamwork, determination and resilience all game long 💚💛

The boys never stopped trying, continued to support each other and worked hard in every contest despite coming up against a very physical side. Their effort and attitude were outstanding and there’s plenty to be proud of 👏
