Plenty of ups & downs this weekend, but I just love how this one faces everything head on. A true competitor, & a pleasure to coach. You deserved this Shiloh. Silver with a PB in the U13 Girls High Jump 🤩🥈

Find your why.
Full Tilt is a goal I’d put off for awhile, as I felt it would take away from by ability to give my best as an athlete. This year I decided bu**er it, it’s worth the small compromise & I can make it work.
Now in it’s 6th week, Full Tilt has grown to 9 junior members & 10 active social sprinters. Meanwhile on the track, in my past 3 races I’ve achieved 2 lifetime personal best performances. Coincidence? I think not.
I step up to the start line with more purpose now than before. I’m more motivated & accountable in my own training, because I need to practice what I preach & lead by example. I might be rocking up to my own training sessions slightly late after coaching, but with more enthusiasm because coaching puts me in the best mood as I love what I do. The trade off hasn’t been a trade off after all.
Time poor, but rich in purpose.
Why do you do what you do? What’s your why?
