IT’S FINALLY HERE!! 🄹

Months of work, over 500 ADHD strategies, and an unreasonable number of hours spent staring at my laptop.

My ADHD Rescue Kit is officially available!

Use it when your brain isn’t cooperating, or better yet, use it on the GOOD days to prepare for the harder ones.

Not every strategy will work for every brain, but hopefully you’ll find a few that make life a little easier.

Also, a little plot twist… After I filmed this, an idea hit me over the weekend and I went into full panic mode until it was done. (Very ADHD of me.)

So now the Rescue Kit comes with a bonus: the Rescue Kit Finder. It’s a private, searchable page on my website. You type in what’s going on, like ā€œI’m late for work every single dayā€, and it pulls out ideas from every chapter that might help. It works straight from your phone, so it’s there when you need it.

Nothing else changes. Same price, and it’s all included.

I’m so proud of this little project, and I genuinely hope you love it as much as I’ve loved putting it together.

One thing I’ve learned about creating ADHD friendly systems is that sometimes the tiniest changes make the biggest difference.

It’s not always about being more organised (if not, most of the time). Sometimes it’s about making things easier to access, easier to put away, and removing those little barriers that stop us from doing things.

So if covering a basket full of baby toys with a pretty blanket makes me more likely to clean up, I’m calling that a win.

Now everyone that comes to my house is gonna be questioning what’s in my cute little baskets 🤣 secrets out folks!

This is just ONE of over 500 practical ideas in my ADHD Rescue Kit, launching Monday, October 19th!

Comment HACKS and I’ll send you the link to join the waitlist so you don’t forget when it launches. Because we all know how that goes. PS. there’s a little freebie when you sign up!

Soooo last week, when I said some ADHDers shut down during arguments, a whole other group of ADHDers took that personally 😬

And fair enough. Because for some of us, conflict doesn’t look like silence. It looks like a courtroom drama where everyone has been subpoenaed. šŸ§‘ā€āš–ļø

There is a responsibility here though that I really want to make clear. We can acknowledge that ADHD can make conflict harder to manage without giving ourselves a free pass to hurt the people we love.

Understanding the behaviour is important. Taking responsibility for it is equally important. And that goes for BOTH people in the relationship.

The goal isn’t to win the argument (and I know it’s hard to remember that in the moment, but we need to do the work to TRY). The goal should be to understand each other without causing more damage in the process.

And please remember, ADHD doesn’t look the same for everyone. That’s why we’re having these nuanced conversations. ā¤ļø

I know this video is long and honestly it should be longer because there is SO MUCH more to say on this topic. I hope this is still relatable for some of you 🫶

I have ADHD. I know what a countdown timer and a 40% discount can do to my bank account.

And while there’s nothing inherently wrong with a sale AT ALL, I think there’s something to be said for knowing your audience and respecting their vulnerabilities.

I want to build a business that makes money. I’m not going to pretend otherwise. But I also want people to trust that when I recommend something, it’s because I genuinely believe in it, not because I’ve figured out how to pressure them into buying it.

You can be ambitious AND ethical.

My ADHD Rescue Kit launches Monday, October 19th, and I’ve poured months of work into it.

Comment LIST and I’ll send you the link to join the waitlist so you’re the first to know when it’s available.

No countdowns. No pressure. Just a whole lot of ADHD-friendly ideas that I hope make your life a little easier. 🫶

So I’ve started outsourcing most of my typing. Best decision EVERRRR.

Wispr Flow has become one of my favourite ADHD tools, and no, this isn’t sponsored (I actually don’t know how to make this sound less ad-y but oh well). I’m just a girlie who gets disproportionately excited about anything that makes life easier.

And speaking of making life easier…

I’m releasing my ADHD Rescue Kit on Monday, October 19th, with over 500 of my favourite ADHD tips, tricks and practical strategies.

Comment TIPS and I’ll send you the waitlist link so you’re notified when it launches.

Because remembering to come back on October 19th would require a functioning prospective memory, and I’m not putting that kind of pressure on either of us.

P.S. What’s an app or tool you swear by? Share it below. I love a good recommendation! No gatekeeping here šŸ™‚ā€ā†”ļø

Went on Netflix to relax. Ended up investigating a cult and watching a stranger in Ohio deep-clean her carpets at midnight. Still haven’t picked a show. 10/10 evening.

I never really set out to become someone who doesn’t drink. I just started questioning whether alcohol was actually adding anything positive to my life.

And those of you following me who knew me through my 20’s are probably thinking ā€œthank goodness for thatā€ 🤣

tbh once I stopped, I realised I wasn’t missing out on nearly as much as I thought I would.

I don’t think everyone needs to stop drinking. I’m certainly not here to tell anyone what they should or shouldn’t do. However I do think it’s worth occasionally questioning the things we’ve been conditioned to see as completely normal. Especially when those things might be making our lives harder than they need to be.

5 years later, I can confidently say this is one decision I’ve never regretted. Which is impressive, considering how many decisions I made that I DO regret. 😬

If you struggle to stay sober in social settings, I have a few hacks that might help. Comment DRINK and I’ll send them to you!

I would genuinely love to know what it’s like to move through life without feeling personally victimised by completely normal social interactions. Anyone else?

Some of my most effective ADHD systems would (and do) look absolutely ridiculous to a neurotypical person.

But I’ve learned that sometimes the biggest barrier to getting things done isn’t the task itself. It’s the expectation that we should be able to do it the ā€œnormalā€ way.

If a ridiculous reminder, an oddly placed object or a completely unnecessary extra step helps you function, WHO CARES??!?!

I’ve spent enough of my life feeling embarrassed about the things I struggle with. I’m not about to start feeling embarrassed about the things that actually help.

FYI, for anyone wondering (so probably nobody) the sunscreen was successfully recovered shortly after the Post-it note was placed smack in the middle of my bathroom mirror. Yes… that was the level of intervention required for a very simple task.

But guess what…. The post it note is still there. HAHA … ok but why am I like this šŸ˜‘
