Shakedown ride today with the trailers loaded up, 85km, lunch was well and truely earned.

One step closer, Topeak Journey TX trailers arrived and first built for a trial.

Getting closer by the day, lets hope this COVID stuff gets sorted soon.

After a slow end to 2020, the start of the new year has created a realisation that time is ticking and that further gear and bike setup needs to be sorted. Today my bike got more comfortable in an ugly kind of way. I am sure further tuning will be required but it’s a step forward in making 8 hours of riding a day more comfortable.

Something a little different this weekend...... fatbikes on cable beach with my lovely wife. It all counts.

This weeks preoccupation has been with another type of bike, built from original survivor parts I have wanted one of these since I first saw one in 1981 at the local track.

“So how long have you guys known each other?”
Well for two of us our bikes all had these when we cruised down the deli to grab 20 cents worth of mixed lollies.
