Key Responsibilities:
✔ Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs and policies.
✔ Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
✔ Provide safety training and awareness programs.
✔ Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
✔ Collaborate with teams to promote a culture of safety.
Qualifications:
✔ Certificate IV in Training & Assessing (TAE40116)
✔ Understanding of WA WHS Act 2020 and WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022
✔ Proven experience as a Safety Trainer in the mining industry
✔ Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
✔ Underground experience highly desirable

🚧 Safety Trainer Required – FIFO Opportunity 🚧

We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Trainer for a 3-month contract with an immediate start. This is a FIFO position on an 8:6 roster, working within an underground environment. Mainly completing VOC's and supporting safety/training staff.

Requirements:
✔ TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
✔ Underground mining experience
✔ National Police Clearance (NPC)
✔ Ability to undergo and pass LAB Drug & Alcohol Screening (DAS) and pre-employment medical
