The State Government has announced a new $150 million Housing Investment Package for Western Australians striving for home ownership or a quality home to live in. This funding package will target the homeless, low income earners and those in need of support.

TBB wishes to congratulate DevelopmentWA and the City of Joondalup for their tireless efforts regarding the successful MRS Major Amendment 1270/41 Ocean Reef Marina. The Amendment comes into effect today after it has passed both Houses of Parliament. We are excited to be the lead planners and urban designers on this exceptional project, and look forward to the next phase of delivering this world-class destination.

TBB is very proud of Jesse Dunbar for being nominated as a finalist of the Property Council of Australia - WA 2019 WA Future Leader of the Year Award and for her work on the Future Directions Committee.

Congratulations to all of the other finalists and also the winners! A big thank you to the Property Council for recognising young professionals in the industry.

TBB is excited to hear that construction will soon commence on the Yanchep Rail extension with local business and job opportunities also available. The Capricorn Beach Yanchep community should see significant works underway next year to extend the much awaited rail line close to their door step.

The City of Stirling has achieved a major milestone with the release of the draft planning framework for the City of Stirling’s Better Suburbs Project for public comment. TBB is proud to have led community engagement and the preparation of the new planning framework, since the project’s inception in 2016, which includes the Betters Suburbs Strategy, Scheme Amendment and Local Development Plans. The project and the draft recommendations have emerged in response to strategic planning and place-led approaches to urban infill, encouraging greater use of public transportation, green-oriented development, and improving the quality of the environment and community facilities. TBB congratulates Peet Limited, and the State Government for securing 80% funding commitment from the Federal Government towards Lakelands train station. This station has been long waited by the community and we look forward to it being delivered in 2021.

‼️ News just in - Lakelands Station has been added as a new project to METRONET's Stage 1 program, while scoping work continues on Karnup Station.

Residents north of Mandurah will benefit from the new Mandurah Line station and it is estimated to see 2,300 daily boardings by 2023, increasing to 3,500 in 2031.

LandCorp - Ocean Reef Marina Set to become a world-class retail, tourism, residential and recreation precinct.

TBB are incredibly proud to be appointed for the planning and design of the Kinlock Infill Development, Ferndale by Yolk Property Group in partnership with the Department of Communities and Ventura Home Group.

The residential infill project is set to revitalise the former Kinlock Primary School site in Ferndale, with Yolk Property Group and Ventura Home Group appointed as project managers. Led by the Department of Communities, the Kinlock Infill Development will deliver 90 residential lots in diverse sizes and prices to suit a range of people and budgets. Housing Minister Peter Tinley at the launch of the project said development would comprise of house and land packages and vacant lots, with an appropriate mix of lots allocated for social housing. Every dwelling would also have liveable design features to provide versatility for people with mobility impairment and meet the changing needs of occupants whilst providing a range of living options only 12 kilometres from the Perth CBD.

The first stage of land development is planned for 2020-21 and will see the release of approximately 35 lots at the former primary school.
