Don’t let her size fool you. This little pocket rocket is an absolute powerhouse!

Meet Sandz.

A working mum to two beautiful girls, with a life that seems to run at a hundred miles an hour.

Between work, family commitments and everything else that comes with being a busy mum, there’s rarely a spare moment in her day.

And if there’s one thing we know about Sandz, it’s that she’s the kind of person who will always put everyone else before herself.

She’s incredibly selfless, forever going out of her way to help others and making sure everyone around her is looked after.
But here’s what we admire so much about her.

Despite everything she has on her plate, she still finds time to prioritise her health.

And not just every now and then. Sandz is unbelievably consistent. Week after week, she shows up, puts in the work and gives it her all.

And the result?

Just look at the video! She’s incredibly fit, strong and a wonderful example of what years of consistent exercise can achieve.

But what makes Sandz so special goes well beyond her physical strength.

She’s one of those people who genuinely lifts others up. Always encouraging, always supportive and always bringing a positive energy to those lucky enough to train alongside her.

And perhaps the biggest lesson we can all take from Sandz is that making time for yourself doesn’t mean you care any less about everyone else.

In fact, looking after your own health helps you continue being there for the people who mean the most to you.

Sandz, we absolutely adore you. Your kindness, generosity, work ethic and commitment to your health are something to be incredibly proud of.

Thank you for being such a special part of our Body MBrace family. We’re very lucky to have you! 🩷🖤

Some members have been with us since the beginning of Body MBrace.

And then there’s V, whose history with us goes back even further…

V has been part of BMB since the beginning, but her journey with Greg actually started 24 YEARS AGO, when he was a young pup working as a personal trainer at the Morley Rec Centre.

And here’s a little fun fact…

V was Greg’s very first early morning personal training client - ever.

And on their VERY FIRST session together… Greg slept through his alarm and didn’t turn up! 😂

Not exactly the greatest first impression.

Thankfully, V gave him another chance, and more than 20 years later, she’s STILL trusting us with her health and fitness.

But jokes aside, V’s consistency and commitment to her health over all these years is something pretty special.

She’s been there from the very beginning, through all the changes, all the years, and probably more early mornings than she’d care to remember!

V, we absolutely love having you as part of the BMB family, and we’re incredibly grateful for the loyalty, laughs and friendship over the past two decades.

Over 20 years later, and we’re still making up for that first missed session!

Back from holidays and the scales are up a few kilos? Don’t panic!

Before you assume you’ve undone all your hard work, remember that not every extra kilo on the scales is body fat.

More carbs, more salt, disrupted sleep, travel and changes to your usual routine can all contribute to temporary weight fluctuations.

And here’s the important part…

You don’t need to punish yourself for enjoying your holiday.

No crash diets. No doubling up on workouts. No guilt.

Just get back into the habits that were working for you before you left.

Because a couple of weeks away isn’t the problem. It’s when those couple of weeks turn into months out of routine that your health and fitness can really start to suffer.

Enjoy your holidays. Then get back to looking after yourself.

It’s really that simple.

Strong comes in many forms.

And Ann is a pretty great example of all of them.

After years in the corporate world, Ann made the decision to back herself, step away and build her own business around something she genuinely loves.

That takes courage. It takes determination. And it takes a pretty strong work ethic.

They’re also qualities we see from Ann every week at Body MBrace.

While most of Perth is still asleep, Ann is regularly walking through our doors for a 6am session, ready to get it done.

She’s incredibly consistent, she works hard and, like all of us, she’s had the occasional niggle pop up along the way.

But rather than letting that stop her, she adapts, works around it and keeps showing up.

And over time, that consistency adds up.

Ann is strong, fit, determined and an inspiration to those around her (including us!)

She’s also proof that looking after your health doesn’t have to compete with a busy life.

It can simply become part of it.

We absolutely love having you as part of our BMB family, Ann.

Thanks for bringing your energy, determination and work ethic to those early mornings (especially throughout winter). We’re very lucky to have you! 🩷🖤

Power Pair ❤️

Gosh, what a crazy concept that these two phenomenal people have been with us for so long.

First came Sara Cinamon Lemer (Sarki) and then of course, as all good men do, they follow their gals.. and along came Malcolm Lemer (Big Bunny).

Over 13+ years we have had their sweaty smiles grace our fitness family and for that, we are grateful. So many laughs with these two! Just a genuinely brilliant pair.

Love you guys ❤️

Walking is great. Moving more is great. Keep doing both.

But if we want to improve our cardiovascular fitness, some of our exercise needs to actually challenge our cardiovascular system.

That means getting your heart rate up. Working at a genuinely vigorous intensity. Then allowing yourself to recover.

And the good news is, you don’t need to spend hours doing it.

That’s a big part of how we approach cardio at Body MBrace. We use heart-rate monitoring to help make sure you’re not just moving, you’re actually reaching the intensity we’re aiming for.

Because when it comes to improving fitness, intensity matters.

This one is pretty special.

Rit hasn’t just been with us for 10 years. She’s been with us for 16 YEARS, right from the very beginning of Body MBrace.

She has quite literally grown with us.

Over those 16 years, life has changed, BMB has changed, and Rit has gone from being one of our very first members to now being a grandmother! But one thing that hasn’t changed is the importance she places on looking after herself.

For Rit, exercise has always been about so much more than what you can lift or how fit you are. It’s about her health, staying strong and capable, and maintaining the functionality to keep doing the things she loves as the years go by.

And after 16 years, we think it’s safe to say she understands the value of consistency better than most.

But beyond all of that, Rit is just an amazing woman. She’s loved by everyone, and we feel incredibly lucky that she has been part of our lives and the BMB community since day one.

16 years, Rit. What a journey.

Thank you for sticking with us from the very beginning 🙏 Rita Casella

We don’t exercise just for today.

We exercise for the version of ourselves 10, 20 and 30 years from now.

So stairs stay easy.
So getting off the floor stays simple.
So we can travel, play with the kids or grandkids, carry our own bags and keep saying yes to the things we enjoy.

Because one of the greatest benefits of being fit isn’t what you can do in the gym.

It’s how much more you’re able to do outside of it.

Every session you turn up for is an investment in keeping your body capable, your world big and your independence for as long as possible.

You’re not just training your body. You’re protecting the life you want to keep living.

24/09/2026

Somewhere along the way, cardio became synonymous with burning calories and losing weight.

But that seriously undersells what cardiovascular exercise actually does.

You’re training your heart, your lungs and your body’s ability to deliver and use oxygen.

Yes, strength matters. Maintaining muscle as we age matters enormously.

But so does your cardiovascular fitness.

Being able to climb stairs without getting puffed. Keep up with your kids or grandkids. Improve your fitness and health markers. Have the capacity to actually DO the things you want to do as you get older.

That’s why we do cardio.

Not to punish ourselves for what we ate.

Not just to burn calories.

But to build a cardiovascular system that can keep up with the life we want to live.

Keep the bloody engine running.
