Meet Lauren 🤎
Lauren has been part of the Energy Cntr Yoga family for a number of years now, and if you've ever taken one of her classes, you'll know why so many of our members keep coming back.
She has this wonderful way of making movement feel approachable, encouraging and fun. Her classes challenge you in all the right ways, while always leaving space for you to honour your own body.
With a background in competitive dance and now studying Exercise and Sport Science, Lauren brings both knowledge and kindness to every class. She believes Pilates is for everyBODY, and that philosophy shines through in the way she teaches.
More than anything, Lauren values connection. She loves getting to know the people in her classes, sharing a laugh, and creating a space where everyone feels like they belong.
We feel incredibly lucky to have her as part of our teaching team, and we're sure you'll see why after just one class.
If you haven't practised with Lauren yet, this is your sign.
Lauren teaches every second saturday morning at 7am - she brings vibes and good tunes.

Every person in our community was once walking through our doors for the very first time.
We know that trying somewhere new can feel daunting, so we wanted to make that first step a little easier.
Whether you've never practised yoga before, you're returning after some time away, or you're simply looking for a space that feels a little more like home, we'd love to welcome you.
We're excited to now offer two introductory options for new students:
🤎 2 Weeks Unlimited – $39
🤎 1 Month Unlimited – $79
Take your time. Try different classes. Meet our teachers. Stay for a cup of tea after class. Get to know the people beside you.
Our greatest hope isn't that you master a pose. It's that you leave feeling a little lighter than when you arrived and that, over time, this place begins to feel like somewhere you belong.
If you've been waiting for a sign to begin, perhaps this is it.
We'd love to meet you.

Hello, August.
The final month of winter.
Not everything needs to bloom straight away.
Nature doesn't rush the seasons, and neither should we.
There is beauty in this in-between. In continuing to show up before motivation returns. In choosing your practice on the mornings you'd rather stay in bed. In remembering that every breath, every class and every quiet moment on your mat is shaping something, even if you can't quite see it yet.
Spring will come.
Until then, we'll be here.
A warm room.
A welcoming community.
A place to land.

Meet Kali 🤍
We're so excited to introduce you to Kali, one of our wonderful Pilates teachers.
With a background in radiography, competitive dance and Pilates, Kali has a genuine love for movement and a fascination with what the human body is capable of. Her knowledge of anatomy, combined with years of dance training, brings a thoughtful approach to every class, balancing strength, mobility and control.
Kali is passionate about creating a space where everyone feels welcome, supported and confident to challenge themselves, all while having a little fun along the way.
Expect athletic, high-energy classes with just the right amount of spice. You'll leave feeling stronger, more empowered and ready to come back for more. And if you know Kali, you'll know she's a big fan of the b***y bands… so don't be surprised if they make a guest appearance every now and then. 😉
Join Kali every second Saturday on the mat.

The arrival is part of the practice.
Before we move, before we strengthen, before we stretch, we arrive.
We take a seat. We close our eyes. We notice our breath.
It can feel like such a small moment, but it might just be one of the most important parts of the entire practice.
Life asks so much of us. We rush from meeting to meeting, school drop-offs, emails, traffic, conversations, responsibilities. More often than not, our bodies arrive in the room long before our minds do.
Those first few quiet moments are an invitation to catch up.
To let the nervous system know it's safe.
To soften the shoulders.
To unclench the jaw.
To take one full breath that isn't rushed.
In yoga, we don't arrive simply because it's tradition. We arrive because presence doesn't happen instantly. It takes a moment to land.
And from that place, everything changes.
The breath becomes steadier.
The body begins to listen.
The mind becomes a little quieter.
The practice isn't something we force ourselves into. It's something we gently arrive in.
Perhaps that's why those first few minutes matter so much.
Not because they're preparing us for the yoga.
They are the yoga.

Meet Diana 🤎
If you've practised with Diana before, you'll know there's something really special about the way she teaches (she's a little bit spicy & a little bit cheeky).
With over 500 hours of yoga teacher training and a lifelong love of movement, Diana brings both depth of knowledge and genuine care to every class. Her background spans gymnastics, martial arts, climbing, skiing and dance, all of which have shaped her unique approach to yoga.
Her classes are creative, fluid and grounding all at once. You'll move through thoughtfully linked sequences that feel almost like a moving meditation, leaving you feeling stronger, calmer and more connected than when you arrived.
Diana has a beautiful way of making people feel welcome, whether it's your first class or your hundredth.
We're incredibly lucky to have her as part of our teaching team, and we can't wait for you to experience one of her classes.
Join Diana:
Monday 9.30am: Slow Flow
Tuesday 7.15pm: Yin & Meditation
Wednesday 4.45pm: Power Flow
Saturday 9.30am: Deep Stretch

Backbends are so much more than bending backwards.
Physically, they strengthen the entire back body, improve spinal mobility, open the chest and shoulders, build resilience through the posterior chain and encourage healthy extension through the spine. They ask us to create stability before seeking flexibility, reminding us that a strong foundation allows us to move more freely.
Spiritually, backbends invite us to practise courage.
They ask us to lean into vulnerability, to soften the armour we so often wear around our hearts and to stay present in moments that can feel unfamiliar. Rather than forcing the body deeper, they encourage us to breathe, trust and expand into what is possible.
In yogic philosophy, the heart centre (Anahata Chakra) is associated with love, compassion and connection. There's something powerful about creating space across the chest in a world where we spend so much of our time rounded forwards.
Perhaps that's why backbends can leave us feeling both energised and unexpectedly emotional.
They remind us that strength and openness are not opposites they exist together.
Do you enjoy backbending? or do you find it a little challenging?

The Art Of Slowing Down
A Restorative Yin, Sound, Journaling & Massage Experience with Simone & Sanna.
As winter begins to draw to a close, there is an invitation to soften. To slow down enough to hear yourself again. To release the weight of the season and create space for what is next.
Join Simone & Sanna for a deeply nourishing practice designed to help you unwind, restore and reconnect through the healing combination of long-form yin, sound, journaling and massage. This immersive experience will guide you into stillness through gentle supported shapes, grounding soundscapes, intentional touch and reflective journaling prompts, allowing the body and nervous system to fully exhale.
Expect a slow and spacious afternoon of:
- Long-form yin postures
- Guided journaling and reflection
- Sound healing
- Massage and assisted relaxation
- Nervous system restoration
- Deep rest and stillness
This practice is an opportunity to receive. To clear the pathways physically, mentally and emotionally as we prepare to transition into a new season.
Please bring a journal and something to write with and a yoga mat if you have one.
Come with an open heart and allow yourself to slow down.
We look forward to holding space for you.
