Royal Fremantle Amateur Open 🏌️‍♀️| Meet the male field

Abel Eduard 
2026 Australian Master of the Amateurs and winner of the South Australian Amateur Classic, Abel sits 3rd on the GA order of merit and is a Victorian state representative, having helped Victoria win the Australian Interstate Teams Matches.

Max Morning 
A Golf Australia High Performance Program member and Victorian state representative, Max won the 2025 Riversdale Cup, 2025 Portsea Open Amateur and the 2024 Dunes Medal.

Josiah Edwards 
A Golf Australia High Performance Program member. Josiah won the 2026 Riversdale Cup and 2025 Port Phillip Open Amateur. He’s also represented Western Australia at the Interstate Teams Matches.

Zach Capelli
2022 Club Champion, Zach won the 2025 Melville Glades Amateur Open and backed it up with a runner-up finish at the 2026 Pacific Harbour Amateur, plus a T15 at the 2026 Queensland Men’s Amateur Championship (Stroke Play).

Jazy Roberts
Reigning Australian Women’s Amateur Champion and Australia’s top-ranked female in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, Victorian state representative and Golf Australia High Performance Program member. She’s currently leading the Bowra and O’dea Women’s Classic.

Grace Rho
Fresh off being crowned 2026 Queensland Amateur Women’s Champion, Grace is QLD Female Amateur Golfer of the Year and a state representative who helped Queensland claim the women’s national title at the 2025 Australian Interstate Teams Matches. She also won the 2025 Bowra and O’dea.

Kortni Houston
Reigning 2026 Junior Amateur Champion of WA, Kortni made headlines with a viral albatross to win the Junior Webex Players Series 2026. She’s represented both ACT and WA at junior state level in recent years.

Dempsey Brown
A member of the Golf WA Talent ID Program, Dempsey is the reigning Women’s Club Champion at Royal Fremantle Golf Club, second youngest female Club Champion behind Minjee Lee

T4 TOUR Championship. T4 FedEx Cup. International Team in the Presidents Cup. ✅

What a season for Min Woo Lee Golf, closing out the TOUR Championship at 11-under to finish T4, matching that result in the final FedEx Cup standings, and earning his spot on the International Team for the 2026 Presidents Cup. A huge achievement for one of Australia’s brightest stars and our very own MWL 👨‍🍳🔥

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Royal Fremantle Golf Club has been named a finalist in the Women and Girls in Golf category at the Golf Australia National Awards of Excellence!

This national recognition reflects the Club’s commitment to creating welcoming opportunities for women and girls to participate, develop and thrive in golf, while supporting women pursuing careers and leadership roles across the industry.

Thank you to our coaches, staff, members, volunteers and program participants who continue to champion this important work. We’re proud to represent Royal Fremantle on the national stage!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Breast Cancer Day, helping to raise vital funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Care WA

A special thank you to Jessica from Breast Cancer Care WA, and to Michelle, who shared her touching story with us. It was a powerful reminder of why days like this matter, not only to raise funds, but to encourage us all to be breast aware, check regularly and seek medical advice if something doesn’t feel right.

Thank you also to Jody from Samuel Smith & Son | Family Wine Merchant for keeping everyone refreshed with the on-course rosé tastings, and to our wonderful volunteers and everyone who donated and contributed the day.

Alongside the main event, members and guests were invited to take part in a casual 9-hole competition, with all competition fees donated directly to Breast Cancer Care WA. Thank you to everyone who teed it up and contributed to the fundraising effort.
