Welcome back to Westside Tuesday night gates practice 21/7/26 🖤🤍

The committee is quite short staffed this week with many at Worlds in Brisbane. We would really appreciate a few parents helping out with the gate and canteen please. Thank you so much.

If you have been thinking about giving BMX a go, this is your perfect opportunity, we have hire bikes for kiddos and adults, lots of people around to ask questions and a delicious canteen for dinner afterwards.

📣 Our mini wheeler track is open!! All riders must be supervised by an adult please and hold an AusCycling licence (bikes, helmets, gloves available for hire)

💻 Please have your AusCycling membership ready at Noms

⏰ Beginners and Sprockets on track 5:30 - 6:30pm. No mini wheelers. Track will be split into 2 sections.
🕰 All riders 6:30 - 8pm.
➡️ All riders must have a current auscycling licence
💰 $6 practice / $2 mini wheelers - Please register and pay at Nominations window
🚲 Bike hire available

This week, a group of dedicated Westside BMX Club riders will proudly represent themselves, our club, community, and country at the BMX World Championships at in Brisbane! What a special opportunity to represent Australia on home ground!

The road to the World Championships is never easy. It takes years of early mornings, late afternoons at the track, countless training sessions, sacrifices, determination, and resilience. Every gate start, every challenge, and every setback has helped shape the riders they are today.

We couldn’t be prouder of what each and every one of you has achieved. Earning the opportunity to compete on the world stage is a remarkable accomplishment and a reflection of the hard work, commitment, and passion you bring to the sport.

As you line up against the world’s best, remember how far you’ve come and enjoy every moment of this incredible experience. No matter the results, you have already made your Westside BMX family proud.

With our West Aussie riders heading over to Qld for World Champs next week, we are running open gates tonight, 5:30pm, Friday 10/7/26.

Come grab some hot laps at the track and keep the legs turning over.

This session is open to all riders, unfortunately no starting on the track 2nd corner jump - must be able to drop in or go from the hill

All riders holding the required Auscycling licences are welcome. Please register at the nominations window.

Pedal riders: $6
Mini wheelers: $2

Canteen will be closed

Just a reminder we are closed for the school holidays to give our amazing committee a little break!

Please confirm with coaches for training over the holiday break.
