Talent will only take you so far.
You mr mindset will determine what happens next.
Talent won’t save you when:
⭐️ things get hard
⭐️you refuse feedback
⭐️blame everyone else
⭐️don’t put in the work
What separates athletes is what they do when talent isn’t enough.

You VS You.
That’s the only thing that really matters.
If you’re not where you want to be, can you honestly say you’re giving it your best?
This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about knowing you’re doing the work more often than not.
It’s the little things.
Because your everyday behaviours become your standards.
And your standards shape the athlete you become.
So forget about comparing yourself to everyone else.
Look at yourself.
How do you want to be known?

Old School athlete traits that need to make a comeback 🔥
1. Being coachable
You don’t have to agree with your coach.
You just need to be willing to listen, learn and try it their way
(who knows they may be right 🤷🏼♀️).
2. Learning to deal with discomfort
Training is hard.
Losing sucks.
Being benched sucks.
Learning that you can feel uncomfortable without needing someone to fix it.
3. Taking responsibility
You make a mistake?
You own it and move on.
You want a stronger mindset?
You make time to do the work.
You want to improve?
You work hard when noone is watching
4. Respect the grind
You don’t need everything to be fun, exciting or motivating.
Sometimes you just have to turn up and do the work.
What did I miss?
What else needs to make a comeback?
