1st Birthday Cake for Nash.

Vanilla cake with Vanilla buttercream and mini ice-cream cone decorations.

Cones were filled with mini marshmallows and white chocolate ganache and sprinkles!

My first ‘Wicked‘ cake consisted of pink and green Vanilla cake layers with white Vanilla Buttercream filling.

The outside was covered in pink and green buttercream with fondant handmade touches on top to depict the theme!

A lot easier to do than I had imagined. The hardest bit was getting the coloured sections split down the middle!

Decorations are some artificial flowers that are in the theme of the function.

Ah Fiesta!!! I had Lionel Ritchie in my head singing All Night Long while doing these cakes because I did work all night long!!

A Mexican themed birthday cake which was different and fed my creative outlet.

A Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream and fondant covering, with cupcakes to match.

The brief was a Mexican theme with Cactus’ on top, a Taco and two Sombreros. It had to have a red heart front and centre with flowers surrounding it, then finished with more bright flowers and cactus’ around the cake with lots of sprinkles and squiggles providing a chaotic feel.

It was really apt because my whole weekend was chaotic not just the cake!

However, I try not to embrace the ‘chaotic feel’ when doing a cake because caking generally helps me relax, so this was particularly challenging to be in the zen zone but I think I got there in the end!!😂

Note: Damn - forgot to take a pic of the back of the cake (looks very different to the front) and just realised I forgot the mayo squiggle on top of the taco!! 🙄

A small White Choc Mudcake and Lemon Buttercream for a family lunch together with some Chocolate Macarons ready to be filled with Milk Chocolate Mousse.
