Cottesloe Golf Club Cottesloe Golf Club is an 18 hole private golf club situated on the stunning WA coast.

Founded over a century ago in 1908, Cottesloe Golf Club established its first links course close by the sea, where the existing Sea View Golf Club exists today. With aspirations of achieving course championship status, the Club moved to its present site in Swanbourne, where a new 18 hole course was carved from the scrub and sand hills using a horse and plough by a group of willing volunteers. Since that time, the Club has been a prominent part of the history of golf in Western Australia and has played host to recent events including the Amateur Golf Championships of Australia, the Australian Junior Interstate Series and the WA Open Championship, and winning Metro Golf Course of the year in 2020. A Graham Marsh designed layout has progressed to being widely regarded as one of the finest tests of golf in Western Australia boasting a well-appointed, two storey clubhouse with unparalleled views of the ocean to the west and city to the east.

The Homecoming.

The Cottesloe Cup was spotted getting up to monkey business at Perth Zoo this morning, and the Alice Wigmore Cup had a moment reflecting at Lake Gwelup on the wonderful women who have etched their names on her.

Then, the moment we have been waiting for. The Cup is home.
Our annual Opening Ceremony where our past champions gather for a photo, drive off and then 2025 Cottesloe Cup champion, Philip Singh marched the Cup in to the Champions dinner.

Today's edition of Cups on tour, both the Alice Wigmore Challenge Cup and the Cottesloe Cup have taken to the water with visits to the Blue Boathouse and Mettams Pools in the north..

The Cott Cup is making an approach to the Club as tomorrow we officially start the weekend celebrations with our opening ceremony and Champions Dinner in honour of 2025 winner Philip Singh. 23 past Champions will join the festivities with winners dating back to 1977 in attendance..

Two rounds of stroke, culminating in the traditional ham & wh***ey and the famed camaraderie of the presentation dinner- this week is the finest in the calendar.

The Alice Wigmore will fire up on Monday with almost 90 women taking part in the 36 hole qualifying event, finishing with a stunning dinner to herald our victors and send them to the finals and our all club Super Sunday!

These are the moments we remember. Bring it on!

Two of our most prestigious pieces of silverware are currently touring Perth in the lead up to the Alice Wigmore Challenge Cup & Cottesloe Cup, with the Cott Cup starting Saturday 17/10 and the Alice Wigmore (midweek field) starting Monday 19/10.

Both trophies were inaugurated in the early 1930's following our move from our original Seaview Links site in 1931.

Follow their journey this week as these revered trophies visit some of the most iconic Perth locations on their way to writing new names in our history books.

Whether your junior is picking up their first club or looking to take their game to the next level, we have a clinic to suit.

Head Professional, Ricky Oh, is hosting beginner, intermediate and advanced level classes throughout Term 4. Click the link on our story to find the class for your junior.

Yuki’s Girls Golf Clinic start this Friday! Designed for juniors with some golfing experience, this 6-week program will build and develop on-course skills and confidence.

All juniors are welcome to participate in these clinics, not just Cottesloe members.

Cottesloe Golf Clubs 106th annual Charity Week was held in September, where our community came together to raise an incredible $37,000 for this years chosen causes.

This year we decided to support causes that are very close to home for us here at CGC, and together, with your support, we were able to raise significant funds for the WA Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service, Dementia Australia, and a CGC funded initiative helping junior deaf golfers Australia-wide.

Contributions were made through donating competition fees during the week, participating in the golf events, raffles and sponsors.

Thank you to absolutely everyone who helped contribute and made this such a memorable week, we are privileged to be able to help such important causes.
