January is shaping up to be a very busy and very HOT start to summer 2026 🥵🥵

⭐️ If you’ve registered for Hot Summer Nights make sure you check your emails (and spam) for all the info for this Saturday! Registrations for HSN are now closed but you don’t need to be registered to come down to the draft night (just a $5 ticket). It’s shaping up to be a very fun night of hockey, tunes, food and more. If you haven’t bought your tickets they’re still available online, link in bio. After Saturday all of the teams will be decided ready for the games on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

⭐️ Think you could bring some new perspectives and fresh energy to the league? The Street Roller Hockey Leagues Annual General Meeting is also coming up in late January! SRHL members are invited to a review of the league’s business over 2025, and to nominate and/or vote for elected members of the 2026 managing committee.

All fully paid members (you should’ve received an email, check your spam) with the league have the opportunity to be a part of the general committee, and can also apply for specific roles too - this year we are on the lookout for a Treasurer, Vice Chair and Registrar, but all roles of the committee are up for grabs each AGM. Don’t be shy, apply!

⭐️ Our Wednesday scratchies are continuing well into 2026 - these ‘scratch matches’ are casual games and open to all skill levels, no score keeping and no set teams! Wednesdays are pretty much always on, unless there is lots of rain or extreme heat - but the best way to stay informed about these scratchies is to join our Facebook group and groupchat.
