Hi everyone! We are aware that there are currently issues with the IHWA Esportsdesk website and the Senior League schedule is not visible. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope to have it resolved shortly!
In the meantime, here are all the games for this weekend:
📅 Saturday 23 May – All games at Cockburn Ice Arena, Rink 2
📅 Sunday 24 May – Games split across Cockburn Ice Arena (Rink 2) and Perth Ice Arena (Rink 1)

Help contribute to the future of Ice Hockey in Australia. Following the recent retirement of a Director, we are seeking nominations to fill the vacant Director position. In addition, IHA has created a new Business Operations portfolio, to be led by Ms. Veronica Ryan. As a result, we are calling for nominations for the role of Treasurer, who will lead the Finance, Risk & Compliance portfolio. Ms. Ryan will continue in this role until a suitable candidate is appointed.

We are also seeking nominations for two remaining Nominations Committee positions, to assist with the 2026 IHA Out of Session Nominations Committee. Please send through suitable nominations by Friday 22 May 2026 - all the details on our website. 💚💛

🏒 Ice Hockey Night Out – Let’s Represent! 🏀

Ice Hockey WA is calling on our community to come together this Saturday night for something a little different, an Ice Hockey Night Out at the basketball!

Our friends at the Perth Wildcats are taking on the Sydney Kings in the NBL Semi Final, tipping off at 5pm this Saturday, and we have secured special group seating for the ice hockey community.

With the ice hockey season about to get underway and the Perth Inferno coming off a championship win, it’s the perfect chance for our community to get together, show our colours, and support another Perth team on the big stage.

If we get a strong group along, the Wildcats are even looking at giving Ice Hockey WA a shout-out during the game, and possibly an interview, helping introduce more people to our sport.

Let’s pack the section with hockey fans and show the Wildcats what our community is all about. Bring your teammates, family, and friends - the more jerseys in the crowd, the better!

We share the news that our Vice President, Thomas Boschmann, has decided to step down from the IHWA Council.

Tom's experience, insight, and dedication have been an enormous asset to our organisation, and the mark he has left on ice hockey in WA is truly valued. We wish him all the very best and genuinely hope that he will return in the future.

As Tom leaves some big shoes to fill, we are thrilled to welcome the following people who have stepped up to keep our Council strong:
🔵 Simon Prigmore has been appointed to the role of Vice President
🔵 Gavin Denz has been appointed to the Council in the role of General Council Member
🔵 Chloe Agius has been appointed to the role of Coaching Coordinator

To Simon, Gavin, and Chloe, we thank you for giving your time and energy to the growth and success of ice hockey in Western Australia. We are grateful to have such passionate people in our corner.
