I didn’t get tags so dhufish, snapper, baldies and breaksea have to been returned but having a tag let’s me fish for the other demersal’s like the deep water species.

It was great. Know what schools are doing … what and thru out the day a very steady Snapper being landed on jigs or a strip of mullet. Was getting close to five snapper per strip of mullet.
Pinks range from just size to absolute crackers with one that on reflection probably was a meter long (Fisheries note release was more important than a measure/ photo - so ready for another trip to the interview room😵‍💫)

Anyway when you can just get out there and fish hard

Looking to run out and look how the samson schools are looking. So a bit of jigging. Then looking at the 80-120m edge to pick up red snapper and grey band.
