Umpire Appreciation Round

The DDFUA would like to extend our appreciation to all Junior, Amateur, WAFL, AFL level umpires, and are grateful for their dedication and professionalism to football umpiring.

On behalf of the DDFUA members, life members and the DDFUA family, we would like to pay our respects to our veterans and currently enlisted Australian Defence Force members.

Lest we forget.

Well done to our umpires representing the DDFUA on Sunday at Optus Stadium!

We started with Connor Hall, Toby Crestani on field and Patrick Newman and Thomas Sutton in Goals for the Curtain Raiser NGA game, and Deklan Ellery and Luke Waugh umpiring the Auskick Halftime games.

A big congratulations to all these umpires, and hope they had a great experience on the big stage!

AFL Umpiring Clinic!

Brett Rosebury is facilitating an umpiring clinic with the Central Conference over the State of Origin weekend!
Brett has also organised for Andre Gianfagna to assist with the session.
That’s right, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and learn from two AFL umpires.

So make sure you register now as spots are limited.
The clinic will be held at Ernest Johnson Top Oval on Saturday, 14 February, from 9:00am to 10:00am.
