Come check out the matches from the show court in Karrinyup Shopping centre! Not often we get a show court set up like this Perth, bring on more of it I say!

It's a full house tonight for the Squash WA Tuesday night Winter season grand finals. State Grade to Div 5.

Cambridge made it through to the Div 4 and 5 finals!

Let's start with some positives here. Someone has clearly had a good work out, got their step count up for the day, maybe been slightly fortunate their opponent didn't hit many drop shots..

But the down side is marking shoes leave ugly black marks that will eventually come off over time but will likely require a cleaning effort to fix it up.

The good news for them, is we are now fully stocked for the upcoming season with the latest Asics and Kanso ranges, with a few other brands not far behind.

Up till now, the centre sponsorship money has helped with a number of maitenance task, incluing last year's fresh paint and patchwork on all 6 courts and this year's addition of new carpet upstairs.

Being a privately owned facility, it makes getting any government grants for facility improvements extremely challenging, so if we want to see improvements, they need to be self funded.

We had the pleasure of hosting the carers from What Ability in their community engagement Come and Try Day back on the 10th July. It was a great chance to introduce Squash to them and their clients as another activity to get involved in to stay fit and healthy! Everyone had a great time and it was pleasing to see the improvement in everyone!
