Devastated to read the news about the horrific bus accident in the Hunter Valley. I was particularly heartbroken to recognise the face of someone who had been one of my Pilates clients and who arranged for me to lead the Singleton Roosters AFC teams through a Pilates circuit workout as something different to their normal training.
Lynan Scott and her husband were both so great to work with - and they were clearly so well respected as much for their positive attitudes (her smile was contagious!) as much as their work ethic.
I also knew Lynan through the Women in Mining Network, and always loved catching up with her at events.
Life can be so cruel.
My heart goes out to the families, friends and teammates. 💔

So chuffed to receive this “thank you” gift from a group of colleagues today. The thank you was for taking them through lunch hour pilates classes over the last couple of months.
I’m just so happy to be teaching people again!
I hadn’t taught since my last class in the Hunter Valley in March.
I don’t do it for the recognition.
I do it to help people.
I do it because I enjoy it.
And I do it because it gives me a mental break as well.
