⚽See below for the Round 6 Pitch Map, Sunday Jun 7th.
Round 6 is looking busy and with apologies one match kicking off at 8 am. FW have adjusted and updated the JCL Miniroo and Junior Divisions but there are no guarantees this will be the end of the changes. Once the fixtures have settled down, we will try to update home fixtures from rounds 7 to 12 as soon as we can.
Now is a good time to remind ALL players that shinguards / shinpads are compulsory for training and match day. This is a mandatory law of the game (Law 4) and is not negotiable. Failure to do so will mean you could be watching training or asked to leave the playing area on Sunday.
Let's remember this is junior sport for juniors, not egotistical parents re-living their dreams. Keep the game fun and respect all participants, from players and spectators to volunteers and officials. Stay safe and go well this weekend⚽

⚽We have a quieter Sunday ahead of us for Round 5. In addition, Football West have confirmed there are no fixtures scheduled for Miniroos and Juniors next Sunday May 31st. HOWEVER, U5/6s and U7s Clusters are scheduled to play on May 31st, for the last time this season at Yokine.
Best of luck to all teams playing at home and away, stay safe and go well this weekend! ⚽

⚽Please see below the Yokine ROS Pitch Map for matches this Sunday, May 17th
Round 4 could be the busiest morning of the season with a bumper number of players (around 650) heading to Yokine ROS. Please exercise great care when driving in and around the car park and surrounding areas.
Apologies for the 08:00 U10 DJSC derby kick off. We try to avoid 8 am starts, but Football West Fixture's occasionally throw up weeks where we need to squeeze matches in. Despite being able to request home and away matches from Round 1 for every age group for years, which helped manage fixtures and pitches, requests for the last two seasons have been steadfastly ignored.
We are pleased to report our KOFFEE2GO van will be looking after us again.
And let's remember, this is Junior sport and there is no need for hysterical behaviour from the touchline. This helps no one and creates tension and feelings on and off the pitch, unwarranted anywhere near junior playing fields.
Have fun this weekend and go well⚽

⚽Lets make this a special day for the Mum's. For all of our Coaches, Team Managers, parents, carers, supporters, in fact all of you lucky enough to be "mums." We hope you enjoy your day and we know our players will be doing their level best to make you feel proud⚽
08/05/2026
⚽Round 3 and Mother's Day looks like being a quieter morning at Yokine ROS, with only 9 matches scheduled alongside the Clusters. We also welcome the i-League to Yokine for the first time this season, we hope you all enjoy your time here.
Let's wish all the Mum's a Happy Mother's Day, and we know the players will do their very best to make you feel proud. Whether you are a Coach, Team Manager or supporter, thank you for everything you do.
Please find below the Yokine ROS Pitch Map for matches this Sunday.

⚽Round 2 has been and gone, and we were very excited that the U5/6s and U7s Clusters kicked their season off at Yokine ROS. Under clear blue skies the ground was a hubbub of excited noise as the youngest players from DJSC, Bassendean Caledonians Soccer Club, Morley Windmills Soccer Club and Inglewood United Football Club entertained their fans.
There is a lot of organisation involved, so a massive thank you to the redoubtable father-daughter team of John and Tahlia for setting up, our Miniroo Coordinator Christine for fixturing and communication, and everyone from the visiting clubs for making the morning so enjoyable.
We are already looking forward to seeing everyone again next Sunday⚽

⚽A good news update. Thanks to the fantastic efforts of our line marking team at Mark My Turf, and for them on the back of a punishing 80-hour week just gone, they have finished marking all 9 of our pitches. We are lucky to have fostered such strong working relationships with those around us getting involved to help the community.
Round 1 on Sunday April 26th at Yokine ROS is all systems go. And it looks like being a busy one.
Let the fun begin⚽

⚽Dear Members. An explanation and apology for the lack of pitches marked at Yokine ROS to date.
It has been 3 weeks since City of Stirling installed the goal posts for our three full size Junior pitches. Our wonderful surveying and marking team from Mark My Turf soon visited and immediately let us know that all 6 goals were in the WRONG location and they could not mark the pitches.
For context: In the picture shown, the northern goal of Junior Pitch B is out of position by 35 meters (it should have been where the white line is). This means that the three adjacent 10/12s pitches would have been plonked in the middle of the hockey pitches. Pitch B is now also out of range from our floodlights.
Junior Pitches A and C are out of position by approx. 5 meters west and 8 meters south. This leaves a gap of less than 2 meters between the Junior pitch and our 8/9s pitches, far less than the 10 meters we deem appropriate for player and spectator safety. The 8/9s pitches cannot be moved south as they are restricted by the adjacent cricket pitch.
We have been waiting over 2 weeks for the City of Stirling Parks and Environment Department to move the goalposts into the correct positions. As the season draws ever closer, we trust this will be done, giving us time to survey and mark the pitches.
DJSC will keep you posted of any progress, and we sincerely apologise that players have not been able to train properly on prepared pitches and understand this is far from ideal, and not good enough for our members⚽

⚽Thanks to the amazing efforts of our worker bees on Sunday morning, the playing kits for 370 players are sorted, our Miniroo goals have their nets back in place and the goal compound has been cleared in preparation for the season ahead. Pictured below are just some of the team that made this happen. Thanks everyone for your energy, enthusiasm and time⚽
