🏏From first hits to unforgettable memories, the school holidays were packed with cricket, fun and plenty of smiles! 😍
More than 280 young cricketers took part in our Perth Scorchers School Holiday Programs, with many experiencing cricket for the very first time.
At the WACA, 85 participants enjoyed two days of Cricket Blast, including playing on the iconic WACA Ground, exploring the new WACA Museum, watching the WA men's and women's teams train, and meeting Perth Scorchers players.
The Smash Series welcomed 88 participants across two evenings, with cricket under lights on the famous WACA outfield creating a memorable experience.
At Davilak Reserve, 98 participants joined Cricket Blast, with many introduced to cricket through the Woolworths Community Funded initiative. Special guests Zoe Britcliffe and Amy Edgar added to the excitement, and every participant received a Woolworths Cricket Blast bat to take home.
The Whitfords Girls Only Colour Blast saw 55 girls take part, including more than 40 who had never played club cricket before. Using colour, water and cricket, it was a fun introduction to the game and a fantastic example of the impact of the Westpac Her Game Grows initiative.
The holidays also included sessions at McLean Park and Millington Reserve, helping even more children get involved in cricket.
💙 Thank you to all the families who joined us. We loved seeing so many children learn new skills, make new friends and discover a love for the game.
📢 We'll be back in January with more School Holiday Programs for 5-10 year olds, so keep an eye on our channels for registration details. We can't wait to see you there! 🏏✨
