DOUBLEVIEW BOWLING CLUB’S COMMUNITY OPEN DAY 2026

What a day.

Our Community Open Day was bigger than we could have imagined, and seeing the club full of families, members, locals, visitors, kids, volunteers, businesses and plenty of new faces made all the hard work worthwhile.

More than anything, we hope the day gave the wider community a chance to see The View for what it really is: more than just a bowls club. It’s a place where families can spend an afternoon, friends can get together, businesses can host an event, people can try something new, and the community can simply come together. That is ultimately what we want this club to be.

We were also incredibly proud to provide a space for so many local businesses and makers to connect directly with the people around them. There is something pretty special about bringing good local people together and giving them a reason to meet, have a chat and share what they do.

A huge thank you to every vendor, sponsor, business, entertainer and community group who helped make the day what it was. Your generosity, energy and willingness to get involved made such a difference.

And, of course, a very special thank you to our staff and volunteers. Days like this don’t happen without people willing to put in the hours, lend a hand wherever it’s needed and keep things moving. We are incredibly grateful for everything you did before, during and after the event.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came through the gates. Whether you were here for the bowls, the food, the drinks, the dogs, the kids’ activities, the music, to support a local business or simply to have a look around, you helped make the club feel exactly how we want it to feel: welcoming, lively and connected to its community.

We hope you’ll come back and see us again.
The doors are always open.

For any queries regarding vendor contacts - please feel free to contact us at [email protected] We’d love to support these amazing people as much as possible!
