💯 100 Premier League Games 💯

Today we celebrate an exciting milestone as Jack Cudby takes the field for his 100th Premier League game!

Since joining WASPs in 2017, Jack has become one of the Premier Men’s most dependable players. After spending much of his junior career as a striker, he made the move into defence, a transition that has proven to be a masterstroke. With his relentless work ethic, fearless tackling, and consistency, Jack has built a reputation for making the crucial defensive play when the team needs it most, regularly shutting down circle entries and producing last-second tackles to deny shots on goal. He now proudly serves as Vice Captain of the Premier Men’s side.

Making his Premier League debut in 2020, Jack has gone on to represent both Western Australia and the Northern Territory at multiple National Junior Championships, while also earning selection in the Australian Under-21 Indoor Hockey Team, an outstanding achievement and a testament to his dedication to the game.

Off the field, Jack’s contribution to WASPs is just as significant. Now in his second year as Sponsorship Head on the club committee, he continues to play an important role in supporting the club’s growth. Away from WASPs, he is also helping develop the next generation as Assistant Coach of the Wesley College 1st XI Hockey team.

Congratulations to Alicia Tory on 100 Premier League games…. and at only 21 years old!

Leeshy made her debut for the women’s team at just 15, and since then has become such a special and important part of this team. Her impact goes far beyond the field, she is a huge part of our culture, leadership, and what makes this team so special. It just wouldn’t feel the same without her.

Leeshy brings the most amazing energy to every game, always hyping the girls up, supporting everyone around her, and somehow managing to make us all laugh along the way. The positivity she brings is contagious, and she has such a special way of lifting everyone around her.

Congratulations again, Leeshy, on an incredible 100 Premier League games. We are so incredibly grateful to have you as a Waspie and so proud of everything you’ve achieved.
