🏏 Whitfords Junior Cricket Club congratulates current and former WJCC players Jordan Day, Ayrton Hoy, Parker Harvey, Leo Harvey and Tene Crafford on their outstanding achievements at the 2026 Australian Indoor Junior and National Cricket Championships!

Jordan was a member of the Western Australia Under 14 Boys team that claimed the National Championship – an outstanding achievement by Jordan and his teammates. Even more impressive, Jordan was the youngest player in the championship-winning side, highlighting a very bright future ahead. Jordan was joined in the team by former WJCC player Parker Harvey.

Congratulations also goes to Ayrton Hoy, helping Western Australia Under 16 Boys team make their grand final. Ayrton's outstanding tournament has earned him selection in the 2026 Australian Under 16 Indoor Cricket Team to compete at the WICF Junior World Series in South Africa.

Well done to former WJCC player Leo Harvey, who was named U18 Player of the Series whilst helping his team make the final at the Nationals. He was also selected in the 2026 Australian Under 18 Indoor Cricket Team bound for South Africa.

Congratulations as well to former WJCC player Tene Crafford, who has been selected in the 2026 Australian Under 22 Women's Indoor Cricket Team. This is another fantastic achievement and recognition of her talent and commitment to the sport.

We pass our congratulations to each of them in representing Western Australia and wish success to those who are going on to represent Australia 🏏

As we grow closer to a new season we are asking for expressions of interest for captaincy for 2026/27.

We are seeking captains for:

Men’s 1st Grade
Men’s 3rd Grade
Men’s 6th Grade
Men’s ODC 5
Men’s T20 colts
Men’s T20 Div 1
Women’s T20

**Seeking interest in registering a men’s Div 3 T20 team. This would be a handful of Sunday games throughout the season, similar fixturing to previous years T20 comps. This may interest some people who aren’t looking to play every weekend but want to get in some cricket with their mates this season**

Jenz has been treasurer for a number of years as well as manning our bar and helping out with uniforms, Ian has been a driving force with sponsorship management and a huge help coordinating teas, and Giddy managed many social events and was als an integral part of our sponsorship management.

Your contributions have helped shape our club both on and off the field, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you have done.

We're excited to announce our whole-club pre-season training program at the brand-new WACA Indoor Training Facilities.

This is the first of four pre-season sessions available to all club members as we prepare for a big season ahead.

Whether you're a returning player, new to the club, or looking to get involved for the first time, these sessions are a great opportunity to sharpen your skills, reconnect with teammates, and build towards the season together.
