EVERYONE LOVES A GOOD PAD HOLDER!
For this reason, we are holding a pad holding session.
This is a great opportunity to start the process in learning how to hold pads correctly.
The session will run for two hours and the coaches will be breaking down the skill and the steps involved. There is no age or skill level required for the session - ALL WELCOME

Thank you to Jennifer at Pulse Pulse First Aid Training for coming down Friday, supplying the defib and showing the boys how to use.

Jennifer will be running a CPR course on Sunday, 11th of October at DSBC. This will also include a demonstration on how to use a defibrillator.
If anybody else would like to jump into the course, please DM and we will supply more details.

The gym in growing
And so are the kids in the Dirty South
For this reason, we have inserted a kids fight team invite only class into our timetable.
Parents please note the following
Monday 9-13 years as usual
Tuesday 5-8 years as usual
Wednesday 9-13 years as usual
Thursday 5-8 years as usual
FRIDAY - kids fight team training- THIS CLASS IS STRICTLY INVITE ONLY
The coaches will address the parents of the child/ children over the coming week if they feel your child’s technique is where it needs be. Safety is ALWAYS our number one priority.
The kids fight team will be for children aged 8years +

This small timetable change will commence from Friday next week- August 21st

Big weekend ahead
- laní will step in the ring Saturday afternoon. Fights start 4pm @ Macedonian Culture Centre, Balcatta.
She is currently listed as fight 19 (please keep in mind card often changes) Can’t wait to see her back in action !
- Sunday sees Luistro Combat Academy Quillan Salkilld jump in as main event on UFC fight night. Main card starts at 8am with Quillan scheduled to fight approx. 10am.
DSBC will be running a 7am class this Sunday only ! Well then be watching the fight. All welcome 👊🏻 Get up, get a training session in and start Sunday with a bang ❗️

Please note
Things will look different around the gym from today until 17th of July.
Head coach Andy is in QLD with Sonny for Nationals which commence tomorrow. He then fights on IBC04 on the 15th of July.
Mike and Julian will be stepping in to cover all classes.
As most of you know, Julian also fights next weekend- July 18th which means he will depart on the 15th.

Due to all coaches being away,
DSBC will be closed for all afternoon classes on Thursday 16th of July.
