One of the things we are looking to establish this season is an equipment exchange. Rather than have everybody kit themselves out completely with new gear (or conversely rely completely on the kits which sometimes struggles to cover the full range of sizes). Particularly when there may be financial constraints.

If you have any old equipment in good condition* your children have outgrown, please see me or place it in the box on the porch of 24 Purslowe Street (as seen below).

I will be maintaining a complete list of all available equipment including size which will be published. Anyone can then contact / speak to Matthew Saxon privately or publicly to obtain anything you need to round out your child’s kit.

*Any originally high-quality bats in not-so-great but restorable condition are also welcome.

Hi everyone, don’t forget to register with Leederville Mt Hawthorn Junior Cricket Club before September 7th to be in the running for the early bird prize. Nathan O’Connor has kindly stepped into the Registrar role and is eager to get team lists ready by September 16 so WA Cricket to put together fixtures.

A reminder with the season only weeks away now is a perfect time to get down to Revo Cricket for any cricket gear your child may need. They outgrow it quickly (more on that later), I know it only too well.

Revo an institution here in Perth and run by wonderful people. I am personally vouching you will get the best deal possible. Ask for Laurie if in Jolimont (of course any of their excellent staff are just as good) and tell them Leederville Mount Hawthorn sent you.

I can particularly commend the Centum line. Quality products and more of what you pay will stay here in Perth.
