Hi all
Had our annual get together on the 4th of January on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
A great turnout of students and friends to welcome the new year. A nice way to also appreciate 2025.
Sense Colin Wee, Sifu Frank Riggio, Jim Somas, Sifu Michael Elder and Sue Rechichi all added to this wonderful afternoon.
A big thank you to our instructors Jeremy, Phil, Gav and now Tony for the guidance and care of all our students. I want to also acknowledge the senior students who step up to help fellow students learn and grow.
Must mention Mel who supports me and the school in many ways, thankyou. And now Sienna who helps out with the very young people at the school. Much appreciated.
As in the past we’ve been blessed with guest instructors sharing their knowledge with us. Last year was no different. Sifu Frank Riggio and Sifu Dom Pasalaqua have been very generous with their time and sharing of their knowledge. I definitely look forward to more of it this year. Thanks so much.
It’s very difficult to get everyone down but for those who came, a big thank you.
You never fail to make my heart sing. Looking forward to this year with all of you.

We are taking enrolments now for all those interested in Kung Fu or Tai Chi classes.
Kung Fu classes are on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8pm.
Tai Chi classes are on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30pm
Cost for Adults is $70 per month
Minors under 15 years of age, cost is $45 per month
For seniors and pensioners, cost is $20 per month
An annual membership of $40 applies on joining up

Breaking with tradition, our little community got together on Sunday, the 12th of January 2025. It was just so much easier than trying to fit it in before Christmas.
As always, a very laid back event where busy people turned up to share food and drink and most importantly, each other’s company on a perfect summer afternoon. A great way to end a weekend ready for a wonderful year ahead.

I would like to congratulate Michael for passing his first grading. It’s always rewarding to see young people develop in a positive way, demonstrating determination and persistence while always being positive.

We had our end of year get together yesterday afternoon at our usual spot at Whitfords Nodes. Couldn’t have asked for better weather.
As always a pleasure to have the company of so many good people.
On looking back, this has been a good year. We’ve had guests instructors from both disciplines come in to share their knowledge with our school. A very generous gesture to support the styles that we all share and practice. And all for the benefit of our students. Thankyou so very much Eyal, Alan and Darren for Tai Chi and Colin, Greg and Nick for Kung Fu.
We also saw nine of our students move up. Well done to all of you.
And then there’s Mel who has taken care of all the printing of our uniforms. A really great initiative. Again, thankyou.
And of course Phil and Gav for all the help with instruction and care of students.
So many reasons to be grateful, very blessed.
