Huge congratulations to our coach Raul on being selected as Head Coach of the 15&U Girls team for the National State Championships!

Following the exciting appointment of our coach to the NSC program, we are pleased to invite all students, boys and girls within the specified age groups, to register for the State Selection Trials.
The trials will take place over two weekends, beginning Friday, 5th June.

The WPTA - Water Polo Talent Academy Winter Program 2026 is designed for junior boys and girls looking to improve their skills during the off-season and prepare for the upcoming competitive season and State Trials.
Our program offers high-quality training with our team of expert coaches, led by:

• 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐜𝐢 (Director of WPTA)
• 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 (AWL player)
• 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞 (Italian player, volunteer)

The program is inclusive, and every athlete is welcome to join and challenge themselves! Due to space limitations, 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, embodying the inclusive spirit that our Academy has promoted since 2019. Our goal is to prepare every junior for a culture of hard work, empathy with teammates, and continuous improvement, to help each player reach their full potential.

𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
• $350 – 1 Term
• $600 – Terms 2 & 3 (𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄 $𝟏𝟎𝟎!)
• $250 – 1 Term (1 session/week)

Water polo isn’t just a sport of sacrifice and dedication, it’s also an opportunity for lifelong friendships.
During last Sunday’s session, our collaborators Sam Nangle (from Sydney) and Alexander ‘Xandy’ Buckland (from Perth) reunited almost ten years after their experience as teammates in the 2016 Australian School Boys team, which toured South Africa.
It was a great moment to see them back in the water with our U16s!

We’re excited to announce that Sam Nangle will be back with us starting this Thursday!
After a standout year that saw him compete at the World Cup with the Aussie Sharks in Singapore, Sam’s achievements have been nothing short of impressive. From playing for CN Caballa in Spain’s División de Honor, to touring the USA with the Sharks, and even earning his Master’s in Sports Coaching from Sydney Uni, he’s had a year full of growth and success.
After his fantastic contribution to our teams last winter, we can’t wait to see what he brings this time around!
