I love watching the newbies find their groove, the returning newbies start to feel like regulars + my beautiful OGs dancing their little hearts out like they own the place. 👏🏼

And I LOVE that every single person brings something different to that room.

You don’t have to be the best dancer.
You don’t have to know every move.
You just show up, give it a go + add your own little bit of magic. ✨

We had a slightly different playlist, merging our usual Monday night tracks with some Ellenbrook faves and OMG… I LOVED IT! The energy was 🔥 from start to finish.

I want to say a HUGE thank you to every single person who came along, danced, sang, laughed and brought that energy into the room. Nights like that are exactly why I bloody love doing this. 💜

And to my 8 newbies… I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to catch you on the way out! I always love checking in after your first class and hearing what you thought…

I also know that first class can feel a little overwhelming. You look around and think everyone else knows what they’re doing while you’re trying to figure out which direction we’re going. 😂 But I PROMISE… we all started there!

The more you come, the more familiar the tracks become. You’ll start knowing what’s coming next and before you know it, your body will be doing the moves without you even thinking about it. 🙌🏽

Yesterday was SO cold. Wet. Miserable. Just gross. The kind of weather that makes staying home on the couch VERY tempting. 🥶

So I actually had no idea who was going to walk through those doors last night…

To our newbies, thank you for taking a chance on my little class. I absolutely loved chatting to you afterwards and hearing that you had such a good time. It means the world to me… and I’m looking forward to getting to know you more! 💜

And to our newbies… if you felt a little out of your comfort zone, that’s completely normal. Every single one of us started exactly where you are. 💜
