At our next Relax & Restore Friday Yoga we will be practicing a very nurturing technique called progressive muscle relaxation. First, you tense a particular muscle group in your body, such as your neck and shoulders. Next, you release the tension and notice how your muscles feel when you relax them. You will be guided to relax all the muscle groups in this way and simply let go... This is our view last week😊

This is my latest blog about some simple breathing techniques that can help us manage stress. We do lots of breathwork during the Relax and Restore Friday yoga class. We can use breath to ground ourselves in the present and relax the body- try these three techniques and let me know how you went!
