This is an appreciation post for my beautiful fiancée, best friend and soulmate 🫶

Witnessing the amount of work you’ve put into yourself over the past 12 months, whilst also consistently showing up for your friends, family, clients and myself, has been nothing short of incredible. Your commitment to becoming the best version of yourself is inspiring, to say the least.

Lots of people talk about wanting to be healthier, happier and feel better within themselves, but most people aren’t willing to put in the work to get there. You operate from such a high level of integrity and alignment. You always make sure you walk the walk and practise what you preach.

To see how elated you were on Sunday to be back facilitating your incredible dance workshops for women, knowing the work you’ve done behind the scenes to show up from such a beautiful, grounded and aligned place, made me so proud.

Watching you continue to do the work, not for recognition, not for validation, but simply because you genuinely want to be the best version of yourself and serve others at the highest level, is such a joy to witness.

I love you, abundant bae. I’m so proud of the woman you are, the woman you’re becoming, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for you.

I feel incredibly blessed to be right beside you, walking alongside you every step of the way. 🫶

totally agree with here.

One of the greatest benefits of boxing isn’t just getting fitter, stronger, or learning how to throw a punch. It’s the level of presence that boxing demands from you.

The moment you put those gloves on, everything else fades away.

The bills, the stress, the emails, the problems, the worries about tomorrow.

None of it matters.

You enter a flow state where your mind becomes completely absorbed in the task at hand. You’re not thinking about the past. You’re not worrying about the future. You’re simply present.

And in a world full of distractions, that’s a beautiful thing.

There’s not many activities that force you to be this present.

When you put those gloves on, the world turns off.

The liver shot is one of, if not the most devastating punches you can land in Boxing.

When the liver gets hit in the right spot with the right amount of force, it can completely shut the body down and force your opponent to surrender. We’ve seen countless Boxing fights end from a brutal shot to the liver.

So here are 3 combinations you can use to set it up 👊

Combo 1:
Jab, Rear Uppercut, Lead Rip

Combo 2:
Double Lead Hook, Lead Rip

Combo 3:
Jab, Cross, Lead Hook, Lead Rip

Give these a go during your Shadow Boxing, Bag Work, Pad Work and eventually Sparring.

The key to a good liver shot isn’t just power. It’s timing, placement and setting it up correctly 🥊

Communication and deep connection are two of the most important parts of a healthy and thriving relationship.

One thing that’s really stood out to me over the last 12 months when going out for dinner with my fiancée is how many couples sit there scrolling on their phones, barely speaking, barely connecting, and when they’re not on their phones, they’re just looking around the room instead of truly being with each other.

It’s a reminder to all of us to check ourselves.

If we truly love someone, shouldn’t we want to deeply know them? To understand them? To be fully present with them?

When you’re with your partner, are you actually there?
Are you communicating?
Are you curious about who they are and who they’re becoming?

Or are you simply existing beside each other because it feels less lonely?

Healthy relationships don’t just happen.
They require presence, communication, intention, and responsibility for the habits we create every single day.
