At the heart of Western Australia’s women’s football community, Jay Coleman continues to show the power of leadership, consistency and a genuine love for the game. An accomplished amateur footballer and captain of Perth RedStar, Jay has played a pivotal role in the club’s success in the NPLWA Women’s competition, leading title winning campaigns and helping foster one of the strongest team cultures in the state.

Her influence extends beyond matchday through her role as Perth Saints FC Women’s Technical Director, shaping pathways and development for players across the club. Beyond results, Jay’s impact lies in what she represents for the women’s game proof that high performance football can thrive in community settings built on inclusion, trust and shared ambition.

For Jay, lifting the game for women means creating environments where girls feel valued, supported and inspired where leadership is visible, opportunity is real, and the next generation knows they belong. A powerful reminder that progress in women’s football is driven at every level, Jay Coleman continues to lift the game one team, one season and one opportunity at a time.

Our club (as with all grassroots sports clubs) is powered by volunteers.

A parent is required to referee/game leader all home games for Miniroos (to 12yr). A parent is rostered as linesman for all Junior (13yrs+) games both home and away.

If you are new to soccer or need a refresher please come along to these sessions kindly run by a volunteer Dad, lan.

From Perth to the national stage, Sarah Carroll has been a constant force in Australian women’s football and a champion for lifting the game.
A Perth Glory stalwart for over a decade, Sarah made her professional debut as a teenager, going on to record more than 80 A-League Women appearances and represent Australia at youth international level, including silver at the 2013 AFF Women’s Championship.
Beyond her playing career, Sarah continues to shape the future of the sport through coaching and development roles with Football West, focused on building clear, accessible pathways for young girls coming through the system.
For Sarah, lifting the game means more than progress at the elite level it’s about investment, opportunity and choice, so the next generation can dream bigger and focus fully on football. A role model on and off the pitch, Sarah Carroll’s legacy is measured not just by matches played, but by the future she’s helping to create for women’s football.
