In this video, Shanaia shares her journey of coming to Australia and the challenges she faced with feeling disconnected from her cultural identity.
Like many diaspora, she experienced moments where her Mauritian identity felt lost, but instead of letting that story end there, she turned it into purpose. Through Zenfants Moris, Shanaia hopes to help rebuild that connection and create a space where culture, identity, and community can be celebrated and passed on to the next generation.
