Meet your Curtin Uni Nationals Captains for Perth 2026 🧡

Leading the Carnabys this year are Brianna Bennett (Netball) and Lukas Murray (Volleyball) 👏

With 200+ students, 17 sports and 25 teams representing Curtin at UniSport Nationals, Brianna and Lukas will help lead the Curtin contingent throughout a huge week of competition in Perth.

We can’t wait to see our teams in action and the Carnaby spirit on full display. 🧡

Meet Kayla Van Der Linden 👋🏃‍♀️

A fourth-year medical student and middle-distance athlete, Kayla balances full-time placements with a packed training schedule, competing across the 400m, 800m and 1500m.

From winning gold and breaking records at the Australian All Schools Championships to chasing her goal of representing Australia internationally, Kayla shares what it takes to balance study, sport and everything in between.
