On Sunday our Bayswater paddlers took on the island to island marathon. 🏝️
Congratulations to all competitors.
Huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped make it a great morning of paddling.
Great to see so many BPC athletes starting the marathon season strong.

This weekend our BPC athletes swapped out their sprint boats for slalom boats. 💪😃🫣
A big thank you to the Florisson family for sharing their knowledge and keeping us safe. 👏
We would also like to thank super coaches Nathan for organising and helping out on the day.
It was great to have everyone learning new skills, making memories and sharing food and laughter together.

Racing has commenced at Junior worlds in Canada and we are so exited to be watching our Bayswater girls on the world stage.🌏 🇨🇦

Results so far are:

⭐️ Samantha Lourey (WK1 1000m) - 3rd (A Final)
⭐️Gen Stanley (WC1 500m) - 6th (Semi Final)
⭐️Abby Major (WK4 500m) - 3rd (A Final)
⭐️Stella Dark (WK4 500m) - 6th (Semi Final)

Day 2 will kick off at 8pm AWST featuring more Heats racing and the first Semi Finals of the event.
